I love the look of it, so attractive! It is large enough to hold all my veggies as I prep dinner. The only downside is the weight of the thing, 13 lbs., which means I have to clean it in place on the counter. Which isn't a problem except the juice groove is a total pain to get food out of. I have started to just leave it on the other side which works since I don't use this board for meat anyway

This is an absolutely beautiful board. It is well-made and very sturdy. I like the handles carved into the ends for easy flipping of the board and that one side has a ditch for juices to drain into. It’s the nicest cutting board I’ve ever owned and I’m sure it’s the last one I’ll need to buy.

First off (as an established home and podcast chef)… I can tell you that even before I used it I “treated” it (not necessarily needed), by applying a coat of walnut oil, then let sit for couple days lol in the vertical position, then repeat and let sit for another week (4 days in my case cuz I wanted to use). And these are the results (in NO order): 1. Heavy duty and doesn’t need a non slip mat (although recommended) 2. When slicing the following (that I’ve done in past 5 weeks ish): cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, lettuce, onions, scallions, almonds, basil etc , raw chicken breast (boneless), bone in rib eye (cooked), Tomahawk steak (raw), Boston Butt (pork shoulder) the results are the same (provided you know how to clean and care for it after)… zero movement while slicing and dicing (except when I tried fresh whole pineapple I should’ve used a mat), minimal to no marking of board! LOVE THIS! Will get another as well as the other sizes! Hints: in addition to prepping the board as mentioned in beginning… 1. When done using, give GENTLE warm soap wash, then towel dry and let stand upright to air dry 2-4 hours… then apply a smidgeon of walnut oil 2. It’s ALL about the knives you use: if you use cheap Walmart or Cutco or Target etc … you’re gonna gouge and ruin it. I use Shun, Henkel, and Dalstrong ONLY… 3. Take a class or study… (knife skills, sharpening etc…) and this will last 20-50 years! Best of Luck

To keep it clean and not splitting out at wood joints we can't use any detergent or water requiring the use of oil. It looks beautiful but takes time to maintain.

Heavy duty and well sized but board is warped and does not sit flat on counter tops. Rocks when you cut on it. Contacted manufacturer - hassle free issue resolved. New board received in a few days no questions asked. Just sent a iPhone photo and new board quickly received. Great Board!!

Great board! Might change in shape in the beginning but flip it over when drying for the first month, after that your golden! I’ve used tons of cutting boards and this one is the real deal! Add a couple rubber bottoms and she will never move on you!

I am in love with this cutting board. It's huge. It's beefy. It's so solid you could probably sail on it and ram through the iceberg that sank the titanic! I recently did some kitchen remodeling and built an island. I desperately wanted a butcherblock countertop for the island but my wife was not excited about the idea of cutting meat on the countertop directly out of fear of it staining it and being a lot of maintenance. So, we went with the quartz instead to match the rest of the new counters and I opted to get the biggest dang cutting board I could find and this is the one I went with! I have been to Crate and Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Bed Bath and Beyond, and local stores. Cutting boards like this were $200+ which imo is worth the price to get a nice cutting board but I decided to look on Amazon first to make sure I wasn't spending more than I needed to. I decided to buy this and I don't regret it. The quality is easily on par with the $200 butcher blocks I was looking at and it's bigger! I got this 24"x18" thick thick thick cutting board and I am so happy with it. I bought some food grade mineral to maintain it with and it has been so good to me so far! The build quality is so solid - true craftsmanship applied to this. The board has deep gutters preventing liquid from overflowing and running onto the counter. This thing is the next best thing to having actual butcher block counters. This thing is truly a behemoth! Measure your storage area where you plan to keep it because it's so big it might not fit! I ended up getting lucky and it fits perfectly in my tall and narrow base cabinet spot. I store it vertically and it just barely fits. Now I want to get a smaller one for less involved/less prep space needed meals and will be buying it from this same exact brand. Truly in love! If you look at my pics you should note two things: 1) that chef's knife has an 8 inch blade and about a 5 inch handle to put the size of the board into perspective and more importantly: 2) the steak is not overcooked. It was smoked to a perfect 130 degrees rare to slightly medium rare on the inside with a high heat sear on the grill to crisp up the outside nicely. So please don't think I'm a heathen cooking my tritip to well-done!
