I was interested to see how my cats would like this heating pad, as they like to lay on the floor but get chilly during winter. They seem to appreciate the warmth of the mat, and like standing on it to warm up their paws, but won’t lay on it because it has a shiny/slippery texture. I think they would’ve preferred the bed had a fluffy covering, and I think it would’ve been nice if the cover came off for washing. I do like how the mat has different levels of heat that you can change based on the temperature your cat prefers. Overall it’s a nice warming mat and works well, I’m just hoping my cats warm up to the texture.

This pad was picked up for Mr. Gato. Mr. Gato is a big guy, and he does curl up on this pad. It does get warm, but not very warm. It's just ok. I wish it were warmer. The cord is pretty long.

I'm going to get right to this, haha What I like about this heating pad: •The Material. It's waterproof, well made where it won't get scratched up, easily wipes clean, hair doesn't stick to/in it, and cute print 🐾 •The secure plastic cover where the cord goes inside of the pad • Timer (normal, 2hr,4hr,8hr, and 12 hour) What I don't like: •At the highest setting (9) it's luke warm I understand wanting to control the temp so it's safe for pets, that being said, if you buying a heating pad it's to heat.... I expect the highest level to be much warmer than it gets. •The Cord It's advertised for pets and to be chew proof via the cord. That being said why would you make the covering movable and not even cover the full cord-especially the part connected to the pad itself? They did such a good job securing it into the pad with a thick plastic covering and screwing it in, then threw it out the window when the plastic covering of the cord didn't even fully secure to it, exposing the cord itself. See pictures . The black covering isn't very strong either and I can bend it with merely my two fingers. Overall it's not horrible, just add some warmth if level is at 9, easy to clean, waterproof. For my dogs though, it's not going to work, this would however work for my cat. Merry Christmas to my cat 😹🎄

We have a lot of senior dogs and they benefit from a little extra warmth. I like this heating pad, it doesn't get too hot and it is waterproof which is nice. It's stiffer than other ones we've tried out. I don't like that the chew-proof cord cover does not extend all the way to the wall plug. It extends to the controller only.

Even on 9, the highest setting, this heating pad barely felt above room temp. Maybe 75-80ish degrees. I left it plugged up for 5 hrs to see if it would get any hotter and it didn't. The cat wasn't really interested in laying on it, and chose to lay in my lap instead - probably because my lap was warmer. lol I gave three stars because it does technically heat up and the timer works as advertised, but in my opinion it didn't really get hot enough to even attract the cat.

This mat is smaller than I expected and doesn't get very warm even on the highest heat setting. The cord is also very short, only about 3 feet total length, so the placement is limited without an extension cord. I planned to use this on our porch for the stray cats in the neighborhood, but it barely gets warm enough to feel inside, much less outside. It does wipe down easily which is nice. I put it in one of the cat beds for now as more of a washable mat than a heater, and that seems to be working out.

It’s everything you’ve been looking for for a heating pad for your pet that you can’t find. You have much longer time cycles you can choose, including up to 12 hours. You have 10 intensity settings. It’s easily cleaned with a damp washcloth, and I think for the most durability don’t fold it up when you’re done find a place where you can put it and leave it at its full size. I have tried to buy heating pads a number of times for my pets, and even when I go to the pharmacy, I only get ones that have short duty cycles or not suited well for animals and this fixes all of that! I can’t speak for the durability except that once you find a level that is comfortable for them on the scale of 1 to 10 just leave it there. As I said, don’t fold it, and keep it clean and I think it’s going to last a long time. I am thrilled to finally find the heating pad I really wanted

We had some rough weather headed our way so we got this to keep the barn cat comfy in her little cat house. Fit perfectly, and ran all night remotely off of a car battery with an inverter on it so it's low power. It's her favorite spot now, and I always find her in her little hut on her pad, even when it's off. We've since ran an electric cord to it. I'll slap an amp clamp on it here soon to see the energy usage of it since the seller doesn't say how many watts it consumes on the high and low end. Info like that I'd like so I could setup a small solar setup for it.
