This timer / race clock actually works really well. All the digits work perfectly, and the fact you can switch between colors is a REALLY cool feature. It does NOT have Bluetooth, by the by, but it does have a remote control (uses 2x AAA batteries, not included) that works perfectly fine, and I was up and running it in just a few minutes by studying what all the buttons said. It's very bright and very easily readable from a good distance, and the quality of the clock itself is actually really decent, I have no problems with the quality of any of the bits and pieces, including the tripod, which does the job intended. In fact, worth special mention is the carry bag which is included with this, which is actually not the usual "cheap, ordinary black bag" but actually a really nice multi-compartmented bag that looks and feels very nice. I was very surprised by the quality of the carry bag. The only thing about it that I didn't like was the rather odd-ball design choice of the external battery pack. That's right, it has a rechargeable battery to run it, if you choose to use it, but it's literally an external battery that, from what I can gather, just...hangs from the power cord, because there's no place to install or attach it. My recommendation for this, if you choose to run it from the battery pack instead of the AC adapter, is to get some Velcro and stick the battery to the back of the timer with it. That odd design choice also necessitates the inclusion of 2 separate AC adapters, which is more than a bit confusing and inconvenient. One AC adapter is to power the sign without the battery, and one AC adapter is to charge the battery. And they're both different. Um...what? So, you have to keep track of those special, proprietary adapters, and I'm assuming not mix the 2 up. Instead of the special dangling battery pack and 2 proprietary AC adapters, I sure would appreciate a design update to an internal battery pack using a single USB C adapter to power and charge the whole works. It sure would seem more...modern, and certainly more convenient. Aside from the oddball external battery pack, I actually really like this timer / race clock, because it's made surprisingly well and works flawlessly, and in fact I recommend it heartily, just know that you might not be super excited with the external battery like I wasn't, but most of us will probably just plug it in anyway. 4 stars.

This Large LED Digital Race Timer Clock was a game-changer for our middle school track and field event! The display is big and bright, so everyone could see the times clearly, even from a distance. Setting it up on the tripod was quick and easy, and the remote control feature made timing races effortless — we didn’t have to run back and forth to start or stop the clock. It’s reliable, durable, and made our event run so smoothly. Highly recommend for any school or sports program!

This race clock is a fantastic all-in-one timing solution that's perfect for everything from running events to football training and even stage use. The display is super bright and easy to read from a distance, even in daylight, and the multiple color options really help it stand out. I like that it comes with a tripod, carry bag, and built-in battery. Setup and transport are incredibly easy and convenient. The build quality is solid and the controls are straightforward, so you can running quickly without any hassle, no pun intended! Whether you're a coach, event organizer, or just need a highly visible timer, this clock delivers exactly what you need. Great value and highly recommended for both professional and recreational use.

Let’s talk a little to ship, but when it arrives, it came in a plain cardboard box. Inside the box was a very nice carrying bag that held the clock and tripod secure. The clock is nice and large, and the digits are easy to read, as well as being able to change the colors of the readouts. The different color read out can’t help see it when in the bright sun. The tripod is easy to set up and fairly stable when the clock is attached. The clock can be controlled with the included remote or from an app on your phone. We use this clock or track lap times and race times when we race our electric RC boats at our local park designated water race track. It is extremely useful for everybody to be able to see what the times are as it is large enough from a distance for you to read. When packing this away, the bag is very convenient as it keeps it all together, and is padded keeping it securely stored. With someone that needs to keep track of lap and race times this will get the job done and the price is reasonable if you need such a device.
