This net absolutely deserves a six star review. It's very well made it's heavy duty the handle telescopes out to 100 inches I absolutely love it. opens up with just a twist of the wrist the handle has a bicycle type grip on it. The net is nylon has a rubberized coating. The net easily extends or shortens with just a twist Of the grip shown in picture five. Because the netting has a rubberized coating on it it tends not to grip as much on the barnacles on the side of the bridge I was fishing on. Just absolutely love it. A good Fisherman has got to have good tools, this absolutely fits the bill. It is well made should last me quite a long time. My disclaimer: What is a 5 Star review? It’s not a comparison to other similar products or the value or cost of what I paid for it. My 5-star review is not saying it’s the best product I have ever seen. It’s an evaluation of the quality of just THIS product it’s craftsmanship and its durability, and, its potential for me to buy THIS product again if necessary. This is great quality, love the adjustable handle, easy to adjust, easy to assemble, you just have to put one screw in the handle and done. Super large net capacity.

    • The net mesh seems alright
With nets like these, you always need to pay special attention to the material that the net mesh is made of and how strong it is. This fishing net seems to be built well and looks like it will hold up at least for a season of fishing. The net is wide and retains itself open at all times, so you don't have to struggle to throw a fish into it. The mesh could be a little thicker and sturdier, but I think it will hold for a while. Although this is a review of a free product, I give you my word that my reviews will always be unbiased and truthful. I got this last week and held off reviewing it until I used it a couple of times. I like the adjustability of the handle length, as I fish from different places, and use different lengths. The rubberized netting is strong and pretty tough. I have landed 3 Salmon with it, and there is no wear at all on the netting. The hoop is large enough to make scooping you catch fairly easy, though there are larger ones out there. This is a serious net for larger, heavier fish. Aside from the mesh basket and rubber handle, this entire net is made from strong anodized aluminum alloy. I like that it has a long telescoping handle, which is much needed when fishing off elevated piers or canal banks. The mesh basket is nice and deep to accommodate large fish. A nice and light, yet much stronger landing net than most others this size. You can feel the shaft of the net is better built than most and I’m looking forward to putting the first fish in it
