Wow, large & sturdy. Only one dilemma, it's very powerful opening, description says auto opening and closing. Opens up just fine but not on closing. I'm a 73 yr old woman, 5'2" & 115 lbs. I found if I pull from the middle pole &press the center outside to the floor, I can get enough strength to close. Other than that, this is awesome. I love it. Just today while I was walking, it started raining after a break and I had my hands full. I pressed the button and was shielded from the rain with one hand. When you press the button to close it, it does require pushing in the telescopic pole, but that can be done relatively easily by pushing it into your stomach. I show it off to everyone lol "so I got this new automatic umbrella...". They think it's neat. It feels sturdy too -- great value for $13! ... show more

Haven’t tried under the rain. But it looks durable and no problem with the auto open and close. Hard to find foldable umbrella with 12 ribs, and the price is unbeatable!!

Purchased 2 in Sept 2024 and today both have word issues. 1 opens, but won't catch and the arm won't extend. The other one has rust on the inside and the arm detached from the cover. However, they were great for about 10 months
