It's a potato ricer. Boil some potatoes and then stick them in this and squeeze the handle. It makes for some very creamy mashed potatoes. It works well. I tried doing it with the skins on but don't recommend doing that. it was very hard. I took a star off because the handle is a bit hard for me to use easily but my husband can use it fine.

It's a decent sized ricer. I haven't used it a ton or put it through the dishwasher but it seems like it's really stainless and hasn't gotten any rust spots. I'm not a huge fan of the handles. They're not exactly sharp on the inside but it's not pleasant to hold and I can see it hurting or pinching if you grab it the wrong way. The outside of the handles are rounded and fine to hold, but I must've needed to grab it at some point with the open side against my hand and thought "I should mind this".

It's a ricer, it's fancy, it's a real tater smasher, making recipes better, what more could you ask for?! This thing blows away taters and gets through them like it's its job. Oh wait, that is its job and it's employee of the month. Think you need a ricer? You bet you do. This thing is going to make you feel fancy and fine as you mash all the time.
