This is my first pair of western style boots I’ve ever had. Like many other reviews of these boots, I have really large calves and have difficulty finding boots that not only fit, but are attractive. These fulfill both conditions. They are comfortable enough to wear right out of the box. Their wideness is not obvious once on. Y’all. I had a pair of Justins that I had for nearly twenty years. I literally wore the soles off, really needed new boots and came across these. I purchased the 8W because I have volleyball legs🥴. First off, let me describe the lovely, full on leather smell when I opened the box. The heavens opened and I slipped them on. I would sleep in these if I could. They’re buttery soft, leave some room in the calf area and I LOVE THEM. They’re the perfect height for cute dresses, too. If I could give them six stars I would, because these are AMAZING. Soft, comfortable, perfect fit, love the brown color.

If you have a wide calf, these boots are what your looking for. Even with a 14 in calf, these still have room for my leg to move. Super cute and very comfortable. Worked in them standing all day, to break them in, for 6 hours with no pain.

I ordered size 7. I normally wear 61/2 but it was not available. However, I have really good inserts I use for my other boots. I can say these are true to size and 7 is okay for me. These are really nice and well made. I looked at other sites and could not beat the price for these. I recommend them.

Ive worn all types of boots and bought these as a 7.5 wide. I am not typically a wide footed person but I know boots are typically more narrow than regular shoes. Now that I have worn them a bunch they are fitting much better than when I first got them but they were def snug at first.

I bought these boots b/c they came in a wide width and black color. I was looking for a wide foot bed, not the shaft but I guess that is a combo package. The boots are stylish and comfortable (I wore them to a concert out of the box with great results). They are wide around my leg but the comfort of the wide foot bed wins out. The boot height on the leg is mid - not high and not low - not my favorite length but again foot comfort wins!

I love these boots. I went with review advice saying they run big so ordered a half size down. Don't. They're too short for my toes so I can't wear them but if they fit correctly I'd wear them everywhere. The quality is top notch. If you worry about the calf being too tight don't. I can never find boots that fit over my calves but these are perfect. The leather is butter soft but sturdy. Took several weeks to arrive and I'd forgotten I'd even ordered them. Someone who works for me brought the box into the house and set it behind a chair where I didn't notice until my try before you buy return/exchange time had passed. Wish I could have exchanged them because they're beautiful.
