I have a rolled ankle and have not time for surgery. These have been the only boots I could get on, and they are very comfortable. The top is wide. I usually would wear an 8.5 but ordered a 9. They are also very cute! They seem well made also.

Purchased these boots to wear with summer dresses and LOVE them. They are super soft except for the toe box, which you want rigid to maintain the square shape. The shaft is leather, lined with a soft fabric and fits a large calf with room to spare (see pictures) The top of the arch area is tight when wearing socks if you add a 3/4 arch support insole, but I'm sure it will stretch as they are a good soft leather. I would not recommend using a full length arch support as the too box would be too shallow. I think the fit is true, as I wear a 9.5 in Durango brand square toe and a 9.5 in this fits the same. The front edge of the heal is a bit sharp when walking but I'm sure that will wear down with more use. I've only had these for 1 week. Will update on durability in a month or so. ... show more

I bought these boots because most of the reviews raved about how comfortable they are. I broke my left foot years ago so comfort is important. They have a little bit of a cushiony insole, but not like I expected after reading all the reviews. However, they are comfortable for cowboy boots. I normally wear a 9 wide and that’s what I bought. My baby toes go right to the edge of the boot so I’m glad I didn’t get a regular width. Since they are leather, I’m sure they’ll stretch out just right. My toes land in the right spot. My heels go up and down a little bit, but I also think that’s normal for slip on boots. I was worried that the shaft would be too big, but it’s just right and I think I have regular size calves.
