Amazon actually recommended a size up, which was surprising - I love Larace's tops and am usually a solid 4X, but Amazon's recommendations have been good in the past, and it's an overgarment so I figured a little extra room wouldn't be a problem, but I'm glad I took the advice because this 5X does fit like their 4X tops. Which is to say it fits great, and is super comfy! But I don't think a 4X would have had enough overlap for my preference. The cardigan is exactly as pictured. I'm 5'10" with a 30" in-seam and it's long enough for me, so it's probably long enough for you. Finding any type of tops that hang low enough to suit me has always been a struggle, but this hem falls right about where it does in the photo, which is perfect. The upper-arms aren't tight, and I like that the sleeves don't end in a cuff. The color is even remarkably spot-on. The knit is soft and reasonably strong, and the whole thing seems well-constructed.

This sweater fits me perfectly and is so comfy and nice without being too heavy. I bought a second one in a different color already (and have a few other colors in my cart) and I wear at least one to work each week. Just a really comfy, stylish cardigan. Love it!

I'm going to Maine in September and not sure what the temperature will be there. I'm thinking warm during the day but cool at night. So I thought it best to bring some hot weather tops but a cardigan to wear if it's cool at night. This is pretty, comfortable, and just the thing for cool but not cold weather.

The sweater is a medium weight and hangs nicely, but it is really long —especially if you are short person. I like it and will keep it but I am 5’4”and it is more coat length on me. The color is also not dark solid black. It is more of a black “heather”.

I normally buy 5x, even though I can wear 3x, I just like to go bigger. However all that was available was 3x and I was a bit sad about it. However- This fits perfectly and it just feels so very nice. The fabric isn't scratchy at all, it's very soft and it feels like a really nice comfy cozy fall sweater. It isn't super heavy. Perfect if you are just trying to keep the chill away. It's a great length as well. I am a rather large woman and this still went down halfway on my thigh. I really can't say enough nice things. The only con here and it is just barely, is that the neck does kind of pressure in the back area when you are sitting. Other than that its really great. It's not that noticeable, only over time. Definitely get this, It's worth it!

I love this brands tops so decided to try this spring cardigan. I love it just as much as their tops. It's not a heavy cardigan by any means and is therefore perfect for spring through fall. I would advise, however, that you check Walmart' website before you buy as they only charge $21.98, which equates to an approximate $10 saving!
