To work with an android-phone-holding product like this one, the Google cardboard app instructs the user to scan a QR code that's expected on the product or packaging. No QR code. In the absence of a QR code with the product we're to go to the manufacturer's website for it. Not only no QR code, but no manufacturer's website! It fits my head well enough. It holds my non-Samsung android phone great. But then the most well-known apps have limited functionality or don't work at all. Budget VR has had enough time to mature more than this. After two days of frustration I'm sending it back. I'll try again later with a budget VR headset that's demonstrated success in the marketplace. Oh, and I'll get one that accommodates the width of my reading glasses.

It’s okay for what you pay, but it’s nowhere near perfect. The unit is somewhat uncomfortable and it’s front-heavy, which is expected as it houses the phone. The mask has a somewhat tight fit on the face and a window that becomes easily fogged. It also has a remote that isn’t worth the space it takes up in the package, and while it does connect to the phone, it has virtually no functionality, but maybe I received a defective one, so who knows. Regarding the positives, you get a set of virtual reality glasses for relatively cheap, and as long as you can make do with taking the phone out to operate videos, as well as position it in a way that fog doesn’t build up, then it should be okay. However, if you’re looking to play games, it’ll likely be impossible to do so with the provided remote; I’m basically stuck with YouTube videos and virtual apps from the AppStore.

Maybe these work great for an android but I can’t say for sure because I don’t have an android, I have an iPhone. They say they work for both but when you receive them and open the manual, 3/4 of it is for android and then a small part for iPhone because the use is apparently very limited which in my opinion, does not equal “works for iPhone”. I’ll be returning these 100%

The front of the headset has a very easy open and close hatch that makes placing your phone in and out of the headset very easy if I wanna switch through videos or games quickly, I can quickly just take it out by opening the hatch and quickly closing the hatch also very light we didn’t comfortable. I don’t feel like the headset is ever gonna fall off and I don’t feel like I’m getting pressed into the lens.
