I am on my second case of this type (the last one was a different brand, but I think the manufacturer was the same). I absolutely love the peace of mind this case gives me. I am typically rough on my phone, though I try not to be, and tend to drop it a lot. I have even dropped it on concrete where it bounced a couple times. The concrete made a small gouge in the rubber of the case, but no harm done to the phone. I've been using these cases for about 3 years now and never had a screen crack or damage to my phone. I only replace the case once the rubber port stopper(s) start breaking off from wear. The waterproof buffer is nice as well since I can feel comfortable taking it in the shower with me. Pros: Very durable, Reliably water resistant (I haven't tested the waterproof claim), Protects the phone very well, Adds enough bulk to the phone that it makes gripping it easier Cons: Sound from the phone is dampened, Need to open the charging port plug for maximum microphone clarity when on the phone (not strictly necessary, but can sound distant/muddy if you don't), Needing to open and close the charging port plug all the time (I personally don't mind, but if you struggle with dexterity or fingernail grip, this could get annoying and/or frustrating), Adds probably 50-80% more to the original depth of the phone (not slim). If you a slim case this isn't the one for you, The case can be hard to take off and it is very hard to keep dirt and fingerprints completely removed from the inside of the screen cover while putting it on the phone. I use this while guiding kayak trips. I’m constantly taking it in and out of my life jacket and submersing in water. After 2 weeks my phone is dry and the photos I take for guests are high quality. Much better than the waterproof bag cases that tend to fog up and get scratched up quickly.

This case is amazing! I replace mine once or twice a year because some junk gets inside somehow (Water doesn't though so I'm not sure how that happens unless junk gets in while it is charging). I work with dogs so my phone is definitely at risk for getting dropped and picked up by dogs. My dog has picked up my phone several times and it has not been damaged. My phone has probably been dropped 50 or so times and dot a dent. It has ended up in water bowls a few times and in the rain a couple times. Only issues I have had is one of the covers for the finger print sensors ripped so I had to replace the case. Most recently the silencer dile broke and I have to replace it. Both faults made it not waterproof so I had to replace right away but if you aren't worried about that, then don't need to replace. It does hinder camera quality which isn't good but In my profession, Durability is prioritized over camera quality (still works but can be lower quality). ... show more

The first case lasted through the pandemic with all the extra cleaning. It was finally needing to be replaced because the thumb print coating, the camera lens cover was damaged, and the on/off switch cover fell out. It's a very good quality case. There’s a plastic lining that blocks the speakers hole and thumb button that rips incredible easily. It’s a great game besides the issue of the ripping plastic. We have the case for a little over a month

Seams keep gaping at different areas throughout the day so from that alone, I don’t trust that it’s going to be waterproof. As if that’s not bad enough, the speakers are completely blocked so if you make a phone call, whoever you’re talking to isn’t going to hear you properly.
