I've struggled with "deep pocket" sheets for years not staying on my mattress and 4" memory foam topper. This extra-deep pocket sheet set actually has elastic strips added to each corner, and the extra depth in material that truly fits the 18"-24" depth mattress combination as promised. The teal color is very nice, but the sheerness of the material is far from the standard thickness I've had all my life. I've washed twice and the sheets are still in perfect condition, as per out of the packaging. I am sleeping comfortably in them. So the lightness of the cloth is an adjustment, rather to the positive. I guess I'm afraid of tearing the material. Only complaint is because of the extra depth, it tends to have a small amount of extra sheeting material that gathers somewhat on use. Can't have the perfect everything between the varying mattress depth and sheet mfg quality, I suppose. ... show more

The sheets are nice and comfy, soft and smooth. They do have a upscale look, but that shine at the corner of the pillowcase in the pic is just lighting so don't expect that. They washed well. No pilling, lint, wrinkles or fading. They fit my queen size bed perfectly. The fitted sheet is snug and hugs the mattress (the straps aren't even necessary).
