This is exactly what you want for items with complicated, small inner moving parts like a sewing machine or clock! Not worrying about shooting too much lubricant to fall where not needed or even becoming counterproductive not only saves the mechanism's operation your working on, but extends the amount of high quality lubricant left for other projects! This small oilier will last me for years (on intricate items as intended)...with the small brushes included as an added bonus- Warning!- This is a 2" x 1mm needle!! Re-use the tiny cap it comes with and avoid poking into hardened grease or other scum as that could easily clog the tiny orifice! Do not drop!! (no pun intended) REMEMBER- it's a needle! Have 4 antique Singer sewing machines. They all were in need of serious cleaning and repair to function again. This set was beyond what I was looking for, as it worked wonderfully, lubricated the machines like new, and no odor. The cap was difficult to work with and leaked a decent bit before finally getting it on right. Worth the price and then some ... show more

    • Good oiling kit
The oil and brush came in a sealed plastic bag. There was no leakage as some have reported. I had no trouble screwing the dispenser onto the bottle. Unscrew the little red thing in the dispenser cap before trying to install the metal tips. Make sure the cap is screwed on completely before use. Some reviewers have had leaking problems. I did not experience this even when the bottle is on its side and under a little pressure. The oil is odorless and lubricated well in the simple test I did. I purchased one for my wife's numerous sewing machines which includes a long are quilter and one for my HO steam locomotives. Based on my little test rig I set up I am willing to use it in her expensive quilter. Looks like it will work well and as advertised. The brush kit is a nice bonus. ... show more
