Strange when I ordered higher thread count. My others were 1000 count. Am I disappointed, yes. But, I need and will use until Black Friday sale from my store. Buying sheets online is always tough because you just don’t know how they will actually feel. My first impression of these Lane Linen sheets was very positive. The Egyptian Cotton felt soft to the hand yet crisp and cool. I threw them into the washer and dryer before putting them on the bed. They felt even better after going through the wash/dry. After spending a few nights sleeping with them, we are thrilled with these sheets and the 2 king pillowcases! The thread count is 1500 and feels great. They felt cool and crisp yet soft to the touch. The width of the top sheet is more than wide enough to fully tuck the sheet in on each side of the bed, even with an extra deep/thick mattress. The fitted sheet had the sewn corners for a close fit but also had elastic to hold the corner edges in place against the mattress. The top edge of the top-sheet has a double-layer finishing with a nice pearl stitch finish. I highly recommend this set. It’s a very high quality sheet set that will make your sleep that much more enjoyable. I plan to buy a second set I like them so much. ... show more

I really hesitate ordering sheets online, since you just never know what is going to show up. I'm so happy I ordered these!! These sheets arrived timely, and came in their own "wrapper/sack". These sheets had barely any smell right out of the package, which is always encouraging to me! These also went through the wash machine & dryer very well, which to me means still soft and not very many wrinkles. These look to be stitched very well, and they fit my thicker mattress (14") very well. These sure seem like they will hold up great over the years. These are wonderful to sleep on! These feel very nice and were pleasant to sleep on. They washed well. (Have only washed once thus far.) so far, they have not pilled or frayed. The embroidered seam across the top of the flat sheet and the pillows gives it an elevated feel. The tight weave also gives it that hotel stiff lay. I first noticed how heavy this set of King sheets are. The sheets are thick and dense. They're generously sized with a double elastic band for the fitted corners - keeps them in place! They wash nicely. I assume they will get softer with each wash. Good value for such luxury.
