I bought these pillows even after reading the negative reviews on how they're not very firm or evenly filled, etc. They're definitely NOT very firm, your head completely sinks into them. However, I bought the queen size, let them "fluff" up for a couple days, then stuffed them into standard-size pillow protectors. Now I have two fairly firm puffy pillows for propping up to read in bed, or for using as body pillows, etc. These aren't the last pillows I'll ever buy, nor the only type--I discovered a long time ago it's not illegal to have variety in your comfort aids. These pillows, stuffed into small than intended pillow protectors, work toward giving me that variety when I want or need it. ... show more

    • These arrive vacuum sealed compressed flat and rolled up
My order of 2 pillows arrived on time. I would also say that my order was correst. 2 things I expect from Amazon. What I didn't expect was my "new" pillows arriving vacuum sealed, compressed flat flat and rolled up into 2 tightly rolled things Saran wrapped to each other. Maybe the size of a shoebox. The pilloows are soft not very supportive. Both are the same color grey. I feel like it would be important to know that pillows arrive completely flat, rolled up and wrinkled. They do expand but not to normal "new" pillow size. I should have purchased pillows from a local supplier ensuring the firmness, fluffiness, color, weight are all up to my standards. Like most items for sale these days returns are welcome but it always seems like it is such a task. The pillows do appear well made as far as craftsmanship so there is that. I am a side sleeper and did not want a pillow that was too thick or "high." This is really a good choice. It puffs up nicely after you take it out of its wrapping, but its nice and thin yet offers support for your neck.
