  • Very comfy, GREAT tread, well-known high-quality brand! They run large - size down.
Size: 8 Color: Black Max
UPDATE: After a pretty severe snow and ice storm, I can confirm with joy that these boots are AMAZING!!! Put it this way: I have my own YakTrax/crampons, and my husband had always REFUSED to wear them. He's the one who walks to work, and after the recent storm, he ended up "stealing" mine. I didn't even notice, because I've never needed to add crampons to these boots. The grip is insane! My 75+lb dog drags me on our walks sometimes, and we live in a very hilly area where our neighborhood streets can be quite steep. Even with that as an issue, and with NO crampons, I have had 2 close calls but have not slipped and fallen at all yet. I do think the insulation leaves a little bit to be desired, in all honesty. My feet do get cold. But I'm also not wearing the thickest, warmest socks by any means. So as of now, after having these for a little while and definitely putting them to good use, that is my only complaint. If I know I'll be standing in the snow for a while, I'll have to wear warmer socks. And really, that's not an extraordinary ask. It's actually normal for people to wear warmer socks in the winter. And added bonus? These boots are roomy enough to wear much thicker socks. In fact, one night, I had my fleece "fluffy" socks on (not planning to go outside) but had to take my dog out, and I did so with those socks on and in these boots with zero issue. Finally, the water resistance has proven to be effective. My feet DO stay dry. Overall, I still (and maybe even more so) HIGHLY recommend these, and am thrilled with my purchase. I got these boots to replace my north face snow/hiking boots that I’d had for well over a decade until one finally cracked. I chose these more because I expect quality from this brand as opposed to all of the random, generic (overseas) brands out there. When it comes to a good, waterproof snow boot, I prefer to stick with a brand known for quality. Normally, quality will cost you. These boots are fairly inexpensive by comparison to other well known brands, and I am very happy with my purchase. Important things to know: The boots run large. I wear an 8.5 (in pretty much every shoe, every brand), and the 8.5s were huge on me. Even with thick socks on, they were too big. But it was easy enough to return them and then buy the size 8. I was too hesitant to go down to a 7.5, but in all honesty, a 7.5 would probably fit me just fine. The 8s are perfect though, especially for the days I might wear a thicker sock. The tread seems great so far! I haven’t slipped at all yet, and we’ve had plenty of ice and snow for me to try these out on. My 70lb dog tends to pull me on walks (we’re working on that lol), so I wanted boots with good tread so I don’t slip. These are definitely slip-resistant. The boots definitely keep my feet warm without being uncomfortably hot, and dry even in deeper snow. They don’t feel heavy at all, which was something about my old boots that sometimes bothered me. Sometimes a good, water resistant snow boot with good tread will be heavy. These are not. I was also looking for a boot that would be easy enough to slip on and off for walking my dog during the day. My old ones zipped up and were as easy as it gets. I couldn’t find any good zip-up boots, but these are easy enough to slide my foot into. Note that the eyelets at the top of the boot, which look similar to the kind you see on many other kinds of shoes, are not open. In other words, the laces do not come out of them unless you actually pull them out through the eyelet (is that even what it’s called?). One of the first things I did when I put the boots on is try to pull the laces out to the side so I could tighten them, and that’s when I realized this. So they don’t “hook” the lace; they actually completely hold the lace. As for the style of the boot, it wasn’t my favorite when I was looking around for new boots. But these faux fur on top does look cute, and my husband actually said he really liked the boots when I wore them with leggings. And he’s kind of a shoe snob. ;) Finally, I have to say that it kind of feels like you’re walking on a cloud with these. I don’t remember reading that they were memory foam soles or anything, but they feel great! All in all, I’m thrilled with these boots. I’m glad that I was convinced because of the brand to get these instead of several other brands I can’t even pronounce but that looked super cute. I’ve learned that shoes are not the best quality from these random sellers, so I don’t even bother with them anymore. They may look cute, but they probably won’t last as long as my old boots or as long as I imagine these boots will. In summary, if you need a good water-resistant snow boot with gripping tread that looks cute enough, is of high quality, and doesn’t cost a fortune, these are your best option. Just remember that they do run large. My suggestion is to order half a size down the first time. ... show more

  • Runs a little big so order half-size down
Size: 8.5 Color: Black Max
Nice boots they look cute on my feet and they're fully fur lined. I usually wear size 9 but I ordered 8.5 and they fit perfectly. Even with adding padded insoles they still fit comfortably just snug. Very warm and cozy so far but the real test will be when I wear them outside in freezing temps. I'll do an updated review later. ... show more

  • Perfect fit, warm, and stylish enough!
Size: 8 Wide Color: Black Max
So far I like them! I was initially skeptical about these boots from other reviews but I’m glad I bought them. Arch Support, Style, and Fit: I feel like they fully support my feet. As far as fit, I wear an 8-8.5 wide and the 8 wide is perfect. Plenty of room for wide feet and a pair of thick socks. They could be a bit more stylish but overall I think they’re cute. Thickness and Warmth: My feet are super cozy and very warm in 7 degree weather. Durability: I’m just outside of Philadelphia and we arguably don’t see as much snow as more northern states. We just got about 8-10 inches so I’ll probably be wearing these off and on until the end of February. Only to run in and out of the house, to and from work, etc. They seem durable to me but I won’t be able to attest to someone who uses snow boots daily and on a heavy basis. ... show more

  • Great Winter Boots, Especially for the Money!
Size: 7 Color: Black Max
I was skeptical about these boots because they don't have a side zipper and I didn't want to have to lace and loosen laces every time, but I'm able to slip my feet in and out without any trouble. With wool socks, they kept my feet warm and dry in the snow. I was able to slip my orthotics in over the pads that come with the boots, providing further insulation from the ground. I normally wear a 6.5, but ordered a size 7 to accommodate the orthotics and they fit just fine. Very comfortable. ... show more

  • Excellent boots, great fit, good price.
Size: 11 Color: Black
Excellent traction, true to size, warm, and comfortable. They are easy to put on and take off. Just open the Velcro, step in, and close the Velcro to fit. Soles are sturdy and strong. I expect to get excellent life out of these boots. Uppers are attractive, as is the faux fur. These boots are a great choice, especially for the price. ... show more

  • Monster-Storm NYC-PROOF, I’m impressed
Size: 9 Wide Color: Black Max
These boots are excellent! I chose the brand because I’ve worked in the aviation industry and this is the brand that they use for our uniforms. I’m so very happy that I did that because the quality is top-tier and even while stomping around and battling the elements, during and after a monster storm in Queens, New York, NYC, my feet and calves stayed dry and warm. No worries at all about slipping either, the grip was firm and sturdy. True to size but I could’ve gone 1/2 down if not for the need for thick socks. Lands’ End for the win. I hope I can buy ones, under this brand, that come up to my knee. ... show more

  • Average, or less than my expectations!
Size: 8.5 Color: Black
Arrived on time and as described. The Velcro to latch the side is a smaller piece. Lands’ End, it’s disappointing. 1) The leg opening could be wider below the calf. I don’t have fat legs, but this is a narrower cut boot. 2) Then the Velcro can’t reach or won’t stick to its match. I am not even trying to latch the Velcro to Velcro anymore. 3)They are also not a warm boot, even with socks. 4) To be honest, my Crocs rain boots have more traction and while not lined, are warmer! ... show more

  • Well-made and good traction
Size: 10 Wide Color: Dark Grey Max
These boots are really well made for the price point. Cozy, warm, solid. Good traction in the recent snow-ice accumulation. I ordered a wide but the width is generous; they’re too loose without a thick sock. That’s ok, though, because I will use the extra room for arch supports. Actually, I’d give these boots five stars if they had better arch support. The sole is comfy, but more than a few minutes and I feel the lack of it there. I normally wear New Balance or Hoka, so maybe it’s just what I’m used to. If you have unproblematic feet, I’d highly recommend these. If you need strong arch support or heel cushioning, just be aware that you may need an insert, and there seems to be adequate space for that. ... show more
