As an older man, I love the easy on, easy off Velcro fastening. They seem to be of high quality as are most things from Land's End, and they are fairly light and comfortable to wear. Mine ran just a little on the small side, so if you're on the border of sizes, go with the larger size. I haven't spent a lot of time outdoors in them, but so far they seem to be warm and repel water pretty well. Overall, a good value for the money.

Background - Arm surgery with full cast to fingers was right when the snow & low cold temperatures hit our area. Needed an easy 1 hand on off boot also warm enough for snow/wet with traction. Wife found these Lands' End and charcoal grey. Arrived quickly. Heavy insulation 200 mg thermal rating . Waterproof, easy to slip on and secure front Velcro and they actually look good. Worn daily with 5' snow, evening temps outside 5 degrees. My feet are warm dry and good traction. Not feeling cold through the sole with standard boot socks. Size 11 fit well. Comfort and well made. Quality Lands' End product once again saved the day! Will still be wearing them even now that I can tie my own lace up winter boots. These were $46 Black Friday sale but regular price is even worth it.

I bought this model because of my trust in the brand, the unique design, and the convenience—I didn’t want a boot that I’d have to lace up and untie every time I used it. It met all expectations: it’s practical, has a distinctive design, and is completely waterproof, making it great for snow. The downsides are the very thin insole, which lets you feel the sole’s structure. One of the four Velcro straps came loose on the second use. This Velcro solution also leaves the boot a bit misaligned. If the closure used an elastic strap, I think it would keep the boot more snug and secure on the foot.

Pretty handy for being able to step into. I think they ran a little small so we sized up half a size and they worked. I like the Velcro instead of a zipper. Nice and warm.

This review is for the slip-on version of this boot. I was looking for a winter boot to slip on in the middle of the night when my dog wants to go out. For that purpose they are pretty good. Be aware, these run big. As I have aged my shoe size has gone from an 11.5 to a 12. I ordered these originally in 12 and they were really loose, so I returned and got an 11.5. They still feel big. I think an 11 would be good, but since I am not wearing these for an extended period, I decided to keep the 11.5. Also, they do not close tightly around your ankles, so deep snow may get in. For my purpose, I would probably buy this again, but if I was looking for a boot for doing activities in the snow, I would not.

Hooray! These boots fit and they are exactly what I ordered, Lands End! I am a female with large ankles and women’s boots, or any with a zipper just do not fit. I usually wear a women’s 9.5 W in a sneaker, but due to my ankles and needing boots for snow, I ordered a men’s 9 W in these. Perfect! Now, they are advertised as having a stretchy band and like a button, but they actually have velcro at the top of each side. I think this is a better idea! Thank you for a great product!

Boots with a conservative style. Easy Velcro tabs, no laces or zippers, and waterproof with a sturdy, slip-resistant sole. Very warm for Chicago winters. Definitely will buy another pair for backup.
