I like writing notes on post-its and my physical planner, so I decided to try this on my iPad. I have a glass screen protector and I didn’t want a paper protector all the time. This product meets me halfway. I didn’t really think much of it until I saw how much it helped write more clearly from a YouTube short I saw. My writing was all over the place on my iPad during college and post grad. This actually helps my writing to look less wobbly, as it feels like I have more control when I write or draw. I do like how I can remove it and save it for later. It works over my glass screen protector. The one issue I’ll sometimes come across is, I have to press harder so it can register I’m tapping on the screen without my Apple pen. Pros: - ability to take it on or off with a folder to put it away (temporary) - writing and drawing with more control - affordable - strong magnets and easy to put on and off - no bubbles Cons: - I have a glass screen protector and I need to press the screen harder to register (if I didn’t I’m sure a lighter tap is sufficient) - a stand alone screen protector as it’s thin and for temporary uses ... show more

I really enjoy this product, it goes on easy, without bubbles. It sticks on perfect, the magnetic edges stay put, the texture is perfect for the pencil, it's textured but mostly transparent and any finger or palm prints wipe off easily and completely (I use a microfiber cloth). Nothing that I've done has left any scratches. Time will tell how well it lasts but so far, after a month of constant use, it shows no wear. It also has not interfere with the screen functions. I’m terrible at applying screen protectors, so this magnetic iPad paper screen protector was a game changer. It’s so easy to put on, and I love that it’s not a huge commitment—just pop it on or off when you need it. It’s not too difficult to align it to your iPad but if you mess up you can always take it off and try again! The paper texture feels really good when I write, much better than other screen protectors I’ve tried. It works perfectly with my Apple Pencil, too—no lag or issues. The only downside is that you can see a bit of a rainbow glare in the reflection, but honestly, it’s not a big deal. I am constantly writing, and for the first time, I've decided to try a different company that offers a better iPad writing experience. I have a few thoughts about ESR's Paper-feel magnet screen protector. The included folder is a great touch, both handy and premium-feeling. The screen protector's dimensions are perfect, fitting my iPad even with a case. Additionally, the anti-glare feature is excellent and works wonderfully. My favorite aspect of this screen protector is the ability to write on my tablet like it's paper while still being able to remove it and enjoy the iPad's original screen. However, I have encountered two issues. First, the magnets could be stronger, as the sides of the screen protector frequently detach, which is frustrating when I'm deep into writing. Second, the roughness level could be improved. In my experience, the Apple Pencil drags more on this protector compared to a pencil on paper. If these two problems were addressed, this screen protector would be the best option for those who write or draw extensively but still want to enjoy the iPad's screen. EDIT: ESR reached out to me and replaced my item. I am adding two more stars because one issue is solved, and their customer support is excellent. It's clear they care about their product. The magnets now stick better, and I no longer have the detachment problem, which has significantly improved my experience with the writing protector. However, I still find the roughness level to be on the rougher side. If I remember, I'll provide a one-year update with my Apple Pencil tips and the feel of the screen protector. Value is solid since it seems this is comparable to most removable drawing screens at much higher cost. Unfortunately the screen’s matt filtering is a bit too strong for my preference and the plastic is thicker than I expected. Also, the top of the screen has been lifting and leading to the whole thing shifting and falling off after some time while working w an apple pencil. It’s usable and it comes with a slip cover which is pretty nice, just wish the top was as strong as the bottom and the plastic was thinner for stronger blacks which the OLED screen is best for. ... show more
