First, I am not a watch aficionado. I rarely wear one. But I needed a watch and dug one out of my jewelry box that needed links added and the battery changed. The commercial jeweler unfortunately wanted more than I was willing to pay for the service I used to get reasonably back east, so I took a risk and attempted the adjustments on my own. All went well except I was struggling to get the case to snap shut. After many failed attempts by less technical YouTube videos I determined I did need a case press. But I am not an avid watch wearer. So I looked for the least expensive option. I wasn’t expecting the quality that arrived. This kit was beautifully put together. The pieces feel sturdy and yet easy to use. The assembly directions aren’t the greatest, but looking at the assembled piece you can figure it out in a minute. The usage instructions are great. The only caution is that the molds aren’t suited for tiny watch faces so do pay attention to the sizes info. I was able to just barely get a fit for my small face. The transparent wrap ⎯ something like really thick Saran Wrap ⎯ is brilliant. You can align the cap and keep it in place easily while setting your watch in the press. I don’t have amazing strength, but the little press did its magic. I expected to hear a pop, but I didn’t it just went together noiselessly. Very pleased. Highly recommend. The feeling of self sufficiency alone is worth it.

I had bought a tool set kit before, but this one is far superior. I always have a problem putting the back on & once had to take it to a Jewler to put the back on so I saved nothing. The directions for putting it together were easy enough to follow. Putting the watch back case on was so easy I couldn't believe it. There are several different tools in here so actually this is the only tool kit you would need to fix the watch. I now have a tool kit that was SO worth the price. It actually paid for itself because the charge for a watch battery at the Jewler's is as much as I paid. I did 2 watches & wish that I had seen this earlier, I could have saved the money I spent on the other kit.

Looked great, worked twice. The 3rd case (battery change) the Press center bolt jammed just rotating it down without any pressure. The bolt metal is too soft to function as a Press. Most cases just need even pressure with the correct size *DIE , they do not need a lot of force, so this shouldn't have jammed the bolt. NOTE: Buy the type of Watch Press that has a 'direct press hand grip spring' This screw down bolt press is an issue. Screw Bolt Press, as opposed to a 'direct spring press' is that the bolt *Die has to keep turning as it 'presses the case closed' this cases the case to rotate against the watch until it snaps the case closed. The rotation misaligns the back case so watch stem divot does not line up. It can break the 'time-set stem' because the divot in the back case is there to protect the stem. * Die is the round plastic press attachment that screws on to the bolt in sizes to match different sized watch cases and crystals.

Only issue I had was one of the threaded holes on the base was poorly aligned which caused a minor cross threading. I say minor because it’s aluminum and can be corrected if you’re careful. Other than that, it performs as expected and saves me money since I didn’t have to take my watch to a jewelry store.

Given the price I was dubious as to what I would receive for quality. However it worked like a charm for the watch back I wasn’t able to set with my hands. Didn’t have any of the reported threading issues that some reported which was a nice surprise. It’s nothing fancy, but gets the job done.

JOREST is a good company. This product is well made & works very well. I recently cracked a watch crystal after changing battery. Never again. Kit contains a wide variety of attachments to accommodate any watch size. Highly recommend.

My wife and I have several wrist watches that require batteries. To save money (not really) and for convenience (mostly) and because I sort of enjoy it (largely), I change watch batteries. However, the backs of some watches are VERY DIFFICULT install. I have damaged crystals during my clumsy efforts to snap a back back in place. “It bothered me enough I was on a watch watch to be sure I could get the back back on! This little press has fittings for many watch back and crystal diameters. Choose the fittings, line up the back, a couple turns of the screw - click! Back installed. Small downside - haven’t found any other things to press with this tool. Maybe something will present itself.
