By being the exact fit, protection is much better with the padding serving its actual purchase. The sleeve feels high quality, well padded, looks elegant with sturdy zippers in a dark color, and the handle is a very comfortable addition. The external pocket is not as big as the entire sleeve but is big enough to fit the macbook charger and cable, adapter for HDMI and USB, a USB and a very compact external hard drive. I'm very happy with this purchase and totally recommend this item to those looking for something actually protective and right fit for the macbook air A2337 with some space for a few accessories, while looking minimalist.

I was looking for a carrying case for my new MacBook Air since I was advised not to get a hard plastic case as I previously had on my MacBook Pro (which went completely kaput after 4 years of probable overheating). I wanted to go with the pretty leather-looking envelope style cases, but my frugality won out, and I got this one instead, and it’s actually really great. The inside lining is soft and perfectly sized for my 13” Air. The outside pocket has room for the charger, my phone, paper, pens, and credit cards if I decide to leave my purse at home. And it has a little handle that I can carry it with from my car to my coworking space or cafe. Highly recommend, especially for the price!
