My son is in Cub Scouts which means a lot of camping. So for my husband and I (both with back problems), using the basic air mattress on the ground was a no-go. This camping cot is a must have. I ordered the queen size. Yes, it's still sleeping on an air mattress....but being on a cot makes a world of difference. Not only are we up off of the ground, but if the air mattress does lose air (and they all do) at least the cot provides a nice flat, even surface. Not to mention it's so much easier to get on and off of a cot than getting up from the hard ground (hubby & I are over 40) so it's not as painful on our backs. The air mattress did lose just a tiny bit of air overnight, but again, what air mattress doesn't? The quality of the frame is nice and stable. Another thing we enjoyed about having the cot was you can utilize the open space underneath when camping. It does have some heft to it, but thankfully it comes in a nice travel bag and it's super easy to set up. I will be ordering a twin size cot for my son when camping ramps up again in the spring. We just used this for a 2 night camping trip and it worked out perfectly for us! It is large but it fit in our Kelty 6 person tent with enough room for our packs and to walk around. The mattress deflated on the first night a bit, but that was just the material stretching out from the initial use. We slept comfortably all night long, and stayed far off the ground where there could be rocks or moisture. We were able to fit our shoes under the frame for additional storage space. Oh man, this thing is a camping game changer. The set up is a BREEZE. filling it half way its super easy to put into the sleeve even by yourself its easy. Also the tear down is easy and the quality is great too. The air mattress is one you can find a replacement on Amazon so you can forsure get a replacement if anything happens over time. Took me about 10 min to set up and about 10 to break down. The case it comes in is also pretty nice. Definitely get a battery powered air pump just because when you break it down wanna get one where you can deflate the air mattress so its easy to fold up and store back in the case. literally comfier than my bed! used this at two camping music fests for me (5'3" 120lb) and my boyfriend (5'11" 150lb) and it was amazing! soooo comfy, roomy, and we only had to refill the air once. great back support as well! we even had a guest sleep on it at our apartment, so it's gone through 3 uses, a total of 11 nights and it's came out just fine. great durability. we'll be using it again at elements 26 :) amazing purchase, very worth it, great deal! definitely buy an electric pump though lol we got a hand pump and it's exhausting ... show more

I have only used this cot twice so far, but the cot itself is nice. It is easy to set up, collapses down for storage, and the carry bag makes it convenient to pack away. The height off the ground is also great and makes getting in and out of bed much easier than sleeping on the ground. The downside is the air mattress it comes with. In my opinion it is horrible and takes away from what could be a really good setup. The cot frame is solid, but I would recommend using a different air mattress or adding a foam pad on top to make it actually comfortable. Have only used once but so far just as described and expected. Easy to setup as one person. Held air well for a week with 2 small kids sleeping and jumping on it and cats walking on it. Don't forget to get a pump separately. Fairly easy to put away in included storage bag.

I was very cautious about buying this but it was a great buy! The cot part doesn't lock but it's to support a better sleep when you move. I am very pleased with this bed. I have only used it for a couple nights so far but it was a super comfortable sleep. The air bed had mixed reviews but it fit nicely and stayed inflated throughout the night.
