I purchased 3 bags of the Congo sand and was able to decorate 3 aquariums. (I forget the size of the bag though!) A 10G, a 20G and a 35G. I love this product so much so I'm really upset that it is currently unavailable. It looks gorgeous. My only complaint is that I can't order more.

First, I agree with the folks calling this stuff "dirty"; it's ridiculously hard to rinse it enough that it doesn't cloud the water, plus little sticks and bits. So you have this beautiful, clear tank that now looks like someone poored a cup of milk in there. Plus the Pangea isn't as pretty in person. And, something seems suspicious with this stuff. Why did they misspell the name on the front of the package??? "Pangea" everywhere except the front. It is printed "Pagea" without the N. I don't think the big aquarium manufacturer Landen handles this product at all. I think they use a 3rd party sand and gravel company and let them package it with the Landen name. That hurts a company's reputation. Wise up Landen!
