We purchased this ice maker for our new supermarket chain to help preserve our frozen goods. It has lived up to our expectations—both the ice production and storage capacity are excellent and perfectly adequate for our needs. The only minor downside is the noise when the ice drops into the storage bin. The sound can be a bit startling if you're not expecting it. We plan to move the unit to a back storage room, which we believe will easily solve this issue. Despite this, we are very satisfied with its performance and would still recommend it.

It came well-packed in two boxes. Setup was simple – just screw on the legs, connect the water tube to the back, and attach the drain to a pump or floor drain. Then, just plug it in and press the power button. It ran a quick 2-minute cleaning cycle first, then started making ice. A full batch of perfect ice cubes was ready every 7-15 minutes. It seemed to get even faster after the initial startup. We got about 30-50 pounds of ice in that time.
