I love this! This is small, compact, easy to toss into a purse , and works incredibly to add a bit of spice to a look. I've been tossing this onto my center lid and inner corners when I go out, and it's been excellent for adding some extra texture and shine. It gives nice, even coverage, but its easy to adjust how heavy the glitter/shimmer is by swiping it up at different strengths. This overall looks just like it does in the pictures, though I'd say it leans even more blue/purple than it looks on the models. I haven't noticed any fallout from this. It stays perfectly in place, especially when combined with setting spray. It has larger particles than I usually see in a shimmer -- I'd say that irl, they're definitely more of a glitter than a shimmer. They look excellent nonetheless lol. A little goes a long way, and although brushes are superior, I find my favorite application method is with my finger or a sponge to get a nice clean line with minimal contamination onto other areas of my face. My one gripe is the quality of the tray. The tray is in a kind of plastic bubble, but the bubble is kind of cheap-looking clear plastic thing. I buy Lancome a ton, and just haven't seen this eh quality thing from them before. The bubble also has a rounded top, which is a bit annoying because it's hard to stack multiple of these on top of each other or store them with other products. The slide top is great though, and is really convenient for applications, though the sides make it a bit tough to get the sponge in there sometimes. Honestly though, the bubble is immaterial to the quality of the product itself -- just something to keep in mind and that I think is worth noting. Overall, I think this is a great shimmer that looks great on and is a pretty great value! 4.5 stars from me :)

I ordered "Midnight Eclipse #12", but the label on the back of the compact states the color is "Lunar Glow#12". This is a beautiful silver-lilac-light blue, glowy, soft sparkle type of eyeshadow. It is gorgeous as a highlighter for those areas we ladies like to emphasize. The color transfers beautifully, but if you utilize your finger instead of a brush, you will get even more transfer. So, this eyeshadow is also buildable and has the ability to stand on its own in a more solid color - extremely gorgeous! I also really like the design of the compact. The lid slides off the to side instead of the usual flip top. This makes me think it will stand up to heavy use and be less likely to crack off like flip tops eventually do.

This Lancome Idole Goddess Dimension eyeshadow is highly pigmented and has high shine to it. I was very impressed an eyeshadow could do this. The lid slides open to the side to reveal access to the product- very creative! The little container is cute and the little design made with the eyeshadow is equally cute! The color is beautiful! It's an icy light baby blue. It definitely gives your eyes a shine. Use sparingly and make sure you're applying evenly to both eyes. You will notice if you're not. I love the depth it gave me. I wore this going out one evening and put this on about 6PM and it stayed on all night, perfectly. I came home and washed my face around 1:30AM and I had to wash it off. It took a little effort to wash it off, but I got it. It has staying power! I really do like this a lot. Especially lightly layered over other colors to take away from the blue, but keeping the icy look. It worked perfectly. This is a quality eyeshadow worth the money! The price point is good. This eyeshadow will last you a very long time. It also works a lot better than cheaper options. You are absolutely getting the value for your money. This is a great piece to add to your makeup collection. I highly recommend this. Not just for the color that it is, but for what it can do to other colors to liven them up! I'm very happy!

While the product title is inaccurate, the pictures are correct. You will receive Lunar Glow instead of Midnight Eclipse—which is the shade I ended up with. I know this is a premium brand, but it’s pretty pricey for a single eyeshadow, especially since it didn't feel like anything special. I was worried the color might be too loud, but you don't actually get much vivid color with this one. It looks like it has a hint of blue, but it mostly just looks like silvery glitter once it’s on. You have to apply several layers to get the color to match the palette; otherwise, a light layer just gives you a basic shimmer. The texture feels a bit dry and doesn't go on as smoothly as I’d like—you can even see the particles sitting on my skin in the photo. It definitely applies better with your fingers. I’m personally not a big fan of glitter, but the particles are very fine, so if you love that iridescent shimmer effect, this might be for you. If you want a true "pop" of blue, though, I’d definitely go with a different shade.

The first thing I have to say about this eyeshadow is that it is very pretty. The images I've attached don't do the actual product justice, but you get a bit of an idea. It's a very vibrant purplish with a nice sparkle. The second is that it has very good coverage, so a small amount can highlight and a larger amount can really make a statement. There's a good deal of flexibility here because it is a quality eyeshadow. There's a price premium on this. 26 bucks is not cheap for eyeshadow. The quality of the product is high enough to justify the price. It will last a while, even with the modest amount in the container. And it has an excellent appearance, which is number one for cosmetics. Can recommend if you're looking to add a purple to your selection and want something with extra sparkle. Whether you use it for just a delicate highlight or layer it for a bigger impact, it will look great.
