Perfect. Exactly what we were looking for. We ordered with really high expectation and it didn't fail. The high expectation came from using their car phone holder which is so very great and hasn't fallen off once. We love the phone holder so much we gifted it our family and friends..And now we will be gifting this item as well. While using the treadmill, our neck was starting to hurt from looking down at an ipad. We wanted something eyel level so went on the hunt and came across this product from Lamicall. This tablet holder works surprisingly well at supporting a larger tablet, so I was pretty happy with it at first. I have a small shelf on the wall where a headboard would be, and having it attached to that I was able to extend the gooseneck pretty far out and have it angled back to a comfortable reading angle while lying in bed. Despite the length of the gooseneck it was able to hold it perfectly while being easy to adjust. That's the good part. The not so good part is that it WILL break with repeated bending in the same spot, and if you like to bend it back out of your way when you're done, it's going to break at the base - rendering it useless. It took only a few weeks for that to happen to me. I was able to MacGyver it by breaking through the glued plastic base and reinserting the now 3 inches shorter gooseneck, and it was usable again but over time the whole thing has weakened so it doesn't hold as well. Also, the base/clamp is all plastic and breaks easily, so get it clamped and don't mess with it again. All in all, had I known its weaknesses ahead of time I could have made it last a bit longer, but some design tweaks would make this a much better product. I wouldn't buy it again because I know I'd just break the next one, but if you treat it well from the start it should last a while and do its job well. I'd recommend it with that caveat. This item is great! It does exactly what it's supposed to do and holds my devices no problem. It's reliable, I don't have to worry it'll fall or drop my phone/kindle, and it's easy to set up. The ONLY issue is that it can be difficult to maneuver. I guess that its just the natural consequence to being so sturdy but when I do have to adjust the arm to sit my devices another way, I find that it's way more difficult to adjust than I'd thought. The loops in the picture had me thinking it was easy to move so I was a bit shocked by how stiff it is. Again, I do think it's just the reality of having it be sturdy and of course I would choose it to be stiff and hard to move but also sturdy over easy to move but flimsy and unreliable. Dad moves it no problem though so it truly may just be a skill issue and I need to hit the gym... ... show more

I've only had this one day so far. I attached it to the back of my bed's headboard and placed my Samsung tablet in it. It held the tablet very well and I don't feel it would fall out. Is clamp gripped the bed very tightly, almost surprisingly so! The arm is VERY VERY VERY strong, but somewhat flexible metal, and completely covered in a much softer plastic/rubber coating. The arm actually takes some muscle to move it to an appropriate angle and shape. Almost TOO much effort and strength and planning is needed to get what you want out of it. In fact, I grew frustrated in trying. I was able to play an online multi-user strategy game while laying in bed, without having to hold up the tablet. I used an external mouse and mousepad so that I wouldn't have to keep reaching up to touch the screen. The whole thing worked pretty well. BUT... when I was done, I had this monster (i.e. this ARM and my TABLET a few inches over my head. It was very hard to move it out of the way so I could go to sleep. Indeed, I left it up over my head all night because it was too hard to easily or quickly move it out of the way. In the morning, I was careful not to bang my face into it. And looking back at my bed it looked awful there, so I took the whole thing down. My wife absolutely hates the who concept and fact that I have this on the bed. It is an eye sore. Will it go up again tonight? TBD. Prior to receiving it, my expectation was that the arm would be stiff, but that it could easily move out of the way. But that is definitely not the case. This would serve much better for people that want infinite flexibility to set up in one unique location, and BE LEFT THERE always. I'm not sure that I could ever accomplish this in the bedroom. ... show more
