At first we got this with a broken dried out marker and that was kinda bummy. But we got the pack of markers sold separately and it was a lot more fun then with just 2 colors. This bear is soft enough to cuddle asleep and tons of fun to color on. I washed it regular with no pillow case and it worked perfect. My kid loves this! Its kind of a hassle to keep having to throw it into the wash and then have she has wait for it to dry so now I just get a soapy handtowel and wipe it down & pop it in the dryer a few mins. Dish soap works best just not too much or you will have a soapy mess.

My 5yo niece is always drawing all day long and this makes a perfect companion. This was a toy I seen as a child on TV but never seen in real life or held one, so I can't compare to the old ones. But my neice has washed it about a dozen times sense December and it is still holding up.

Cute! I had one as a kid so I bought for my daughter who is 7. She loves it but it is inconvenient to wash it right away when she wants to draw on it (says 48 hrs). It's had multiple washes in a pillowcase and has held up.

It was a birthday gift for a 4-yr-old girl. I've been told she really enjoys it. I decided to get another bear for my own child. He's not letting me wash the bear so far, so I don't know how it holds up in washes, but he sure enjoys drawing on it.

    • Daughter loves it and washes clean
My daughter loves this bear. It washes easily and all traces of the marker comes off. I keep the markers put up so she doesn't color something besides the bear. I'll wash it and put it away, when she finds it she immediately asks to color the bear.
