Tried this for my husband (200+ lbs. 5'9" ) as a temporary recovery aid after an injury--something he could sleep in sitting up, and easy to move around an apartment space. It's a sturdy and great chair, and very portable, however didn't work for him to sleep in. Was troublesome for him to get into, for one thing. And then not enough support along the sides for his arms. I have dozed off in it myself, 5'6" fully reclined and if you add lots of pillows, it kind of works. You never get fully flat reclined either, not flat like a cot or something, but goes pretty low. Have it folded up now which it does nicely, for some day when we have a yard or patio for it. This is a fantastic chair. I want to say that the box was literally falling apart when UPS delivered it. Any instructions that might have been included were missing. It was a disgrace on UPS's part.

My friend had a pair of these and I sat in it and I instantly liked it. Went to buy one and was surprised how expensive it was. There was a used one available on Amazon for $179 so I bought that. It appeared to be brand new and was just apparently returned by a customer and never used..

This is my first real Lafuma chair after owning several of the knock offs. Over time I'm hoping that issues such as rust will not be as prevalent.
