The lace is a very crisp, bright white. It is a good color, although I expected a softer white. It is flexible and soft, easy to work with. I also noticed the design isn't as crisp or detailed as it appears in the photos. The 'petals' in the trim, for example, are thinner than they look in the photograph. It's a small detail, and not a deal-breaker since I'm not using it for anything that will be scrutinized. The description mentions both cotton and polyester/nylon, and I can't confirm which it is, but I can tell you it's definitely durable. I gave it a good tug and pulled at some loose strings and it didn't fall apart. It feels like a strong, quality lace. I cut straight across the large central design and it didn’t fray or fall apart easily. I had to grip it between my fingernails and pull to get strings to pull out. It is perfect for crafting or everyday purposes. A quick tip for other buyers: pay close attention to the photo of the lace by itself, not the ones showing it on other items. The in-use photos seem to be more for inspiration than an exact representation of the product. If you're looking for durable, non-delicate lace, I think you'll be happy with this.

Very soft lace and the quality of it is great, it doesn't tear as easily as other laces and it's super easy to use, both hand and machine friendly and it's definitely great for lingerie or decorating, it's a bit stretchy and the lace is beautiful! I love it and I definitely did get my monies worth with this lace!
