  • Good, but wonky cap
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
Overall, pretty solid product. The suction cups on the bottom keep the shaker solidly in place on any hard surface that you put it on. However, the rubber cap over the shaking motor on the very top isn't very solid and tends to come loose and it makes it feel as if you're pressing down wrong and your bottles of paint don't really shake for extended period of time. I use this for miniature painting paints that I keep in dropper bottles instead of tattoo ink. Thinking about maybe getting a more expensive one that has a more solid top where you're actually making contact with the paint bottle to the shaker itself, that doesn't feel as if it's going to come loose or interfere with your shaking. Overall though it shakes the paint well and gets everything very well mixed up and helps keep the paints from separating which is important. ... show more

  • Died after about a year
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
Worked great while it worked. Then the pressure switch started getting stuck "on" and everything started going downhill from there. A few months later, the whole motor burned out and it's junk.

  • ok, but a bit light an a bit noisey
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
Hi all, so just had a chance to use my new mixer. My old one, which had the top eaten off by a dog (grrr), as one of the original Alis Opis mixers. This one is Much lighter and quite a bit noisier than my old one. No adjustment knob, but really I never used the one I had, just set it to max speed an called it good so not losing anything there. Hoever, cause this thing is much lighter than my old one it's not so great at skaking larger bottles. THe little dropper bottles an GW/Citidel paint pots it does ok with, so it handles what I use an likely most figure painters use for paint bottles. I think the main thing here is that this is an ok mixer, especially for the price. Can't speak at all to it's durability, but given how it shakes an rattles I'm thinking a year or so before it breaks, but we'll see. Great mixer for the price an certainly good enough to see why a lot of fig geeks swear by using a mixer rather than just shaking bottle. ... show more

  • Didn't work on arrival
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
so when I unboxed it and plugged it in...no workie...as it would be more of a hassle to return it. I figured I would eat the cost and check it out. ((Important note)) I build electronics for a living (mostly industrial) so I am saying DO NOT TAKE THINGS APART if you are not qualified. What I found was the motor plug was not seated well on the mainboard, after checking the connection and 12vdc input it worked fine. proby got lose in shipping. but it does the job as needed ... show more

  • Worked for a few days and died
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
While it worked. It shook tattoo inks partially then died. I didn’t bother returning it I figured t could use it as a spare part for the space ship I’m building

  • When it works, it's great. Otherwise….
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
When it works, it's fantastic. I love it. However, it doesn't hold a charge really. I keep it plugged in all the time and it's kind of hit and miss as to whether it'll actually turn on when I try to use it. It's about 60 % of the time it works. Otherwise it's a hinderance to my productivity. Looking for other units with straight plug-in capability without the sloppy attempt at being wireless. ... show more

  • Good for the price
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
The only thing I don't like about this vortex is that the power cord doesn't click into the base, so when you use it, it gradually vibrates the cord out of place and it'll turn off. Other than that, it's great for mixing up paints. Even has suction cups on the bottom so it doesn't move around.

  • It takes a soft touch at first.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Black
When I first tried it I had a vision of a paint shaker from Home Depot. It isn’t that. Gently push down til you feel the motor start to really move. Too much pressure and it’ll freeze. Great when you get the motions down.
