Update: customer service reached out right away to help make my experience better! They have offered to send me their updated quality products at NO COST to me. They also gave me the option of tape in or clip in, and I have chose the clip ins! I’m so excited to try them as I LOVED the color and length and have had great luck with clip ins in the past! They also offered to send a bottle of conditioner also NO COST to me to help avoid any dryness I experienced before! Best customer service at any company I’ve experienced! Color and length is beautiful (I did either the 18” or 20” and ordered 2 sets, my hair is thin and shoulder length so it didn’t even take all of them to fill my hair). Picture two was after installation, pretty easy to do, watched a YouTube tutorial on best application for thinner hair to help blend and hide the tape ins. LOVED IT at first! Waited about three days before a wash, did minimal wash. Conditioned with high end conditioner at only the ends to try and eliminate slipping. I also have redken oil to help with keeping the moisture that was recommended by my hairstylist when I used to have sew in bead extensions and has always worked wonderfully. I also have a high-end hairbrush, made specifically to help with hair extensions and carefully go through tangles without pulling Also recommended by my hairstylist when I was getting my extensions professionally done. Truly, I like the way these tape look better than I ever lied to my professional Hair Extensions, But I lost some of the Hair Extensions, And most of the others slipped down. To try to help with the moisture, I did use my blow dryer with low heat to dry the roots and help prevent any more slippage…. That seemed to stop any more from slipping or falling out. Once hair was dried, I went to style for the first time, And was almost afraid to do so, because once my extensions were dry, the hair was extremely coarse and rough, Even though I have hair products, it did have kind of an off smell to the extensions… I tried to style anyways Using the hair oil that I have to help with moisture…. But as you can see in the picture above, the hair is rough and course and just does not look the same at all. I would totally give a five star at the time, but they are just not the same once you have to go and wash and style even waiting The recommend time. Kinda a bummer.

I was a little hesitant on purchasing hair extensions off Amazon…. However, i am completely satisfied with my purchase!!! Not only did it come in a cute well made box… you can tell that they take pride in their work! I am someone who has lupus/alopecia and lost a lot of my hair about two years ago… I decided to take that leap of faith and purchase LaaVoo Tape in Hair Extensions Human Hair Ombre Real Hair Extensions Tape in Light Brown to Ash Blonde Mix Platinum Blonde Tape in extensions! I am absolutely amazed with how well the color blended in so perfectly with my hair! The quality of the hair is top notch, you can tell they take pride in what they do!!! Helping us women feel beautiful and confident by providing such a great product! The tapes ins are very soft, silky smooth and made with good quality adhesive that is strong and durable. I have tried other tape in extensions and I was not pleased by the results and they tangled sooo fast and felt dry within less than a couple of days and that’s without washing. These hair extensions provide comfort, and does not get easily tangled while maintaining their silky texture!!! I was able to sleep with them in without the uncomfortable tugging! These extensions are by far the best that I have tried and I can honestly say I am super excited to make future purchases from LaaVoo!!! The media could not be loaded. Summary at bottom! I have super thin and super fine hair because of alopecia and I have started experimenting with tape in extensions. I received these on August 13 and installed them August 14. I followed the exact directions given for installation. I slept with a bonnet on, never put my hair up, took cold showers, used clarifying shampoo only, only used my fingers to detangle, and never used hot tools without a heat protectant. But by August 20, I had several of the extensions come loose & slide down my hair or just fall out completely. I made sure to thoroughly remove the old tape and replaced it with some of the replacement tape that came with the extensions and thought nothing of it. Then on August 23, while combing through my DRY hair with my fingers, more of the extensions were pulled out. I know that I can’t expect a lot from these extensions since they were cheap, but a lot of the other reviews had the extensions last a lot longer than I did, so maybe I just got some bad tape. But besides the crappy tape, these are really nice extensions. They blend very well and aren’t heavy when dry and only slightly heavy when wet. You could absolutely install these right after receiving them- only reason I waited was because they were delivered a day early and I had not washed my hair yet. It did take me 3-4 hours to install them myself because I’m new to tape ins. The attached photo was taken the day I installed them, right before I got into the shower to wash my hair, which is why it’s so poofy and greasy looking (sorry). The video was taken once I finished installing all of the extensions and had straightened all of my hair to help the extensions blend better. The extensions had no problem with staying straightened for 4-5 days (as long as it wasn’t too humid outside). The quality has held up well so far; they feel exactly like they did when they arrived. I like the extensions enough that I am genuinely debating repurchasing them if I color my hair differently or if I have my current set long enough that they can no longer be reused. Summary: The tape on these tape-ins only lasted me about 4-5 days each but I think I might’ve just gotten some defective tape. So far, they have maintained their quality and I am very happy with how easily they blend with my significantly shorter natural hair. They take a while to install but that could also just be a normal learning curve. I would probably buy these again.
