I opened the package and was immediately turned off by the odor. It is a chemical type of odor. The case seems decent. Going air it out for a few days. If the odor doesn't go away, it will be returned.

    • A very nice case…if your stuff fits in it!

Although I don’t use this case for the suggested diabetic supplies, I do use it for another injectable medication when I am traveling. I am happy with it. Pros: Nice almost-hard shell on the organizer case won’t get crushed easily. Looks well finished, like a quality item. This is not a cheap, cheesy looking case by any means. The zippers are very smooth gliding, and easy to grab thanks to the little zipper pull dongles that are attached. Also, there are 2 zipper heads, which makes it a little easier to open or close, but honestly it’s a bit overkill, one would’ve been sufficient for such a small case. Has a nice removable wrist strap. I suppose that’s a nice feature if you have a use for it. I suppose it would be especially handy if you hand-carry this case. I don’t need the strap since I always put this case inside a larger bag, and figured the strap would only get snagged on other stuff in the bag, so I simply removed it. The inside elastic band and zippered compartment are nice features to help hold things in place and prevent them from falling out when the case is opened up. I like that the case is deep enough that I can put some larger items such as vials into the case, without anything getting crushed and bent out of shape. But of course that depends on the size of the things you intend to put in the case, so your experience might differ. Includes a pill case. Cons: No cons related to the organizer case. Be aware that the pill case is pretty big compared to the larger supply organizer, and you can’t really put the pill case inside that organizer and still have any reasonable amount of room left to put additional things into the organizer. So I’d suggest thinking of the pill case as a completely separate case to be carried in a much larger bag. Also, the pill case’s pill capacity seems oddly small compared to the exterior size of the pill case. The case is very hard material and clasps shut, and has a silicone seal around the edge to keep moisture out. So it is definitely very protective of the few pills it can house. But, I don’t plan to use it because the capacity is smaller than I need for the lengthy trips I take. Still, I might use it for an overnight trip. Verdict: The organizer case itself is great, and I recommend it (but not so much the pill case - but that’s just a freebie anyway.). The most critical thing to consider is whether the interior volume of the organizer case will be large enough for the size and quantity of supplies you intend to house within it. If so, then this organizer case should be a great option for you. Note that 2 sizes are available, but even the large size, which is the one I have, is not all that big! My stuff fits, but really with no extra room to spare. Don’t ASSUME the “large” case will definitely be big enough for your items, because “large” isn’t really all that large. Measure your stuff! Then compare the listed inner dimensions of the case. That should guarantee your happiness upon receipt of the item, and many years of hassle-free usage. ... show more

The gray hard shell case is a nice size to carry diabetic supplies, but also any other small items or even a mini first aid kit. Overall the build quality of this case is okay, but some of the interior stitching isn’t the best. Zippers seem to work okay and the case looks great aesthetically. As for the pill box, it’s a hard plastic case that almost seems waterproof as it locks and has a rubber seal around the outer edge. I haven’t tested it though. Each compartment in the pill box is covered with a semi transparent door. However, the quality of these doors could be a bit better, as opening and closing the smaller compartments could be a pain at times. Otherwise, this is a pretty reasonable price for these two cases. ... show more

I really like how this is a hard cover case and it holds everything well. It seems very durable and has plenty of space. Unlike the bags that come with the kit the zippered pocket in this one is not see through. I do like that a bit better- so you can clearly see your supplies. The pill case with this is very nice. I got this case to carry my blood pressure monitor. It does the job. It has a zippered side that you can place some things and another side with a strap that you can tuck something like a blood pressure monitor cuff behind. You can use it for whatever you see it has a use for.
