The hammock is really comfortable! Got it last summer, used it, and stored for the winter. When I got it out and re-hung it, about half of the cotton cords that it hangs on at each end immediately broke. The hammock fabric is sturdy (poly?) , but the cotton ropes apparently did not survive one season of sun. I may try to re-weave with nylon rope because I really liked the comfort of this hammock last year.. If you don't mind buying a new hammock every year this one is great. ... show more

Out of the package this is a beautiful and comfortable hammock. The pictures are after 9 months. The fabric is faded, dingy and tearing. It served us well during the summer of '21, but just know in the salty air of Florida, you're only going to get 1 summer out of it.
