Mygosh this really works wonder!!! Been 3 weeks now since I received this and using and giving my feedback!!! This really lightened my face without any break outs or bad effects!!! Instruction says to use on day time with sunscreen but on the second week onwards I switched it to night application and I noticed it ligtened my face even more and waking up to little glassy skin which maybe more in the long run!! It says vit c serum is better to use on day time coz it helps neutralize free radicals caused by sun exposure, pollution, and environmental stressors during the day. This is when our skin needs that extra protection the most and when layered under sunscreen, Vitamin C can enhance its effectiveness and give extra defense against UV damage. I might still gonna go back on day time use on my 4th week, for now am enjoying the effectiveness on me using it at night. I actually bought this 4-piece La Roche-Posay set because of my flight attendant friend, whose skin looked amazing she doesnt even use foundation! I didn’t think twice about trying it after seeing her skin!!! And it works on me too!!! So these are my 4 la roche products I combined • Vitamin (C12) – Brightens skin, fights dullness, smooths fine lines, and provides antioxidant protection. • Mela B3 Serum – Fades dark spots, evens skin tone, and reduces discoloration. • Hyalu B5 Serum – Hydrates deeply, plumps skin, and helps reduce wrinkles. • Hydraphase Light Cream – Lightweight moisturizer that provides 72h hydration and leaves skin fresh and radiant. MY SKIN TYPE: normal to dry (I usually get cakey and notice fine lines when wearing foundation), but this set has helped me a lot jeez I don’t get cakey anymore when I wear makeup!

I have been using Vitamin C Serums for over 6 months now since my dermatologist recommended them and have tried many brands. This one was the worst one I have tried so far. First of all, it is pretty expensive when full priced. It only has 12% vitamin C and there are other brand with 15% or more for that price. I do not like the smell. Vitamin C serums all have a little funk to them but this brand adds fragrances to mask the smell and it goes overboard and smells like bathroom potpourri. I do not like the bottle. This isn't the only brand to do this but these dropper bottles are a pain. The serum is thick and gets stuck to the sides of the glass dropper and it's hard to get a consistent dose every time. Sometimes I get a big glob and other times it seems like it's not enough. Also when you get low it's hard to get the rest out. I think it's just for show to make you feel like you are getting something for your money. The squeeze bottles are the best and the pump bottles are much better than this. As far as efficacy goes, I have not noticed a particular difference in my skin over the other brands I have been using in the past. If anything I may have gotten slightly more acne than with previous products (maybe because of all the fragrance). It is a little harsh on my skin and I have to follow it up with moisturizer. It seems to work okay but it stinks, has a dumb bottle and is expensive.
