I really like this product and it is an excellent value - the container is HUGE! I bought LA looks gel in a small tube before that lasted me over a year... I only I use it occasionally & not daily, so this is a lifetime supply LOL I couldn't find this product locally anymore and it's the only gel that holds curls in my coarse, wavy to curly hair. I apply to wet hair; it gives me natural spirial-like curls. I have just below shoulder length hair. It does not leave a residue - it seems to absorb into my hair (which is quite dry) and to regenerate curls the next day, I dampen my hair & re-apply a dime size amount starting at the ends.
