  • Very Disappointing
The takeaway is to hold a few yoga poses for several minutes. This book is poorly organized and difficult to read, despite the large text with lots of space. The pictures aren’t helpful if you don’t know yoga. There is no particularly new or meaningful information in terms of poses or the standard ball and roller, which I think many of us aren’t strong enough to use. It’s really unfortunate that Amazon doesn’t require authors to show more so a more informed decision about a book can be made. ... show more

Grabbed this book as soon as I saw it! The secret to effective stretching is to breathe into the ache and let your body drop into it. We don’t pay enough attention to the quiet parts of our mind. Love how easy the stretches are..and reminding yourself to go slow and long is key. The book even includes QR codes to video - that’s unique in my opinion. And if you get a chance to find a myofascial therapist that is good as Tamara….spend an hour with them! And buy this book! ... show more

I am in awe that such small changes make these classic stretches incredibly effective. Easy to follow instructions and encouragement from the author make this book different than any stretching book I’ve purchased in the past. Table of Contents and Index make it a breeze to locate stretches specific to an ailment, book lies flat with large print so it’s easy to follow along when propped on a table, counter, or even the floor.
