I ordered a similar product from another brand that also has a sunscreen in it and I didn't like it. The sunscreen made the product all chalky and streaky and tough to apply so I was looking for alternates. I found several designer label brands and only one good drugstore brand. I went with the drugstore brand - L'Oreal. Compared to the other options this one is great! It layers well over my sunscreen and the color options are narrow but the sheerness allows for a lot of skintones and shades. This applies pretty well with a hybrid foundation brush but it DOES STREAK. So you'll probably want to tap over the streaks with a damp sponge. I don't recommend applying this product with a sponge because it is runny and the sponge will absorb a lot of product which will cost you more money. You can also apply with your fingers. I don't but that's only because I don't like that method of application. But if you do like it - go with it. The product isn't likely to streak from your fingers but it definitely will with a brush. The only thing I don't like about this product is the packaging. It's a disaster; a complete mess. So if you decide you like this foundation I recommend ordering a replacement pump for other foundations and using it on this product so you can avoid the mess that you'll get when you try to insert the dropper back in the tube. I love this foundation! I’ve gotten several people asking me what makeup I use since switching to it. It’s light, luminous, and decent coverage. I use Clinique Even Better for my concealer and L’Oréal Lumi glotion to highlight my face. I’m in my early 40’s with a few fine lines, occasional blemish, combination skin and I live in a hot humid climate. This foundation never feels cakey and doesn’t settle into lines. My one annoyance is the glass dropper. It applies too much foundation, so normally I just use the side of it to “wipe” some onto my face and then I blend/buff using a foundation brush. Just don’t wipe too hard or the dropper with pop out of the lid. It does pop back in easily. The dropper is also a bit messy as it drags foundation in and out of the bottle the top by the lid can get covered in makeup so I’ve mastered the art of opening it without touching the sides of the bottle neck.

This is actually a really nice foundation for the price. It goes on like regular foundation, but then it settles into your skin rather than laying on top of your skin like a coating. Finish off with a lightweight powder and it has a great smooth coverage! It is somewhat buildable so I’m able to add a second layer to my 48yo light sun melasma patches on my cheeks and it smooths everything out really nicely. I also have oily, acne-prone skin and this lasts all day although near the end of the day it does separate a little bit like all foundations do. Also, knock on wood, after three days of use this hasn’t broken me out yet. I used to use foundations from higher end name brands but I think I’m converted to this one now. Blends in well, doesn’t feel thick or greasy, and leaves a nice finish. Plus it doesn’t cost a lot for the results. Recommend!

So I was a bit hesitant to order because some of the reviews talked about how it didn't come packaged or sealed. Some reviews mentioned it looked watery or smelled like chemicals. So when I received mine and it didn't come sealed or in a package, I was a tad worried. I then opened it and it does smell a bit like rubbing alcohol, which I don't love. I was worried something was tampered with so I went to Walgreens (drug store) and found the same shade in the same foundation. The foundations on the shelf don't come packaged or sealed, they all had the same consistency of mine and I even am a weirdo and smelled the foundation and it does have the same rubbing alcohol smell. So I've determined ordering this is legit. I haven't tried it yet but am excited. The smell is not great but I've had other face makeups with strong smells before.

I’ve been mixing foundation with cream, oil or serum since…idk, I was 18? 2005. It started with Nivea for men aftershave balm—imagine my surprise when that stuff went viral! We BEEN KNEW lol anyway, for the past like ten years I’ve been mixing with serum or sometimes snail cream depending on my mood. This gets tricky with new foundations sometimes. But this foundation/serum is amazing!!!! I get to skip the mixing and just apply. And the finish is beautiful! Buildable if you want. I like a natural finish and this is IT. It dries down matte but depending on what skincare I use beforehand, I can obtain a semi dewy finish—I don’t mind the matte because after a bit, my natural oils kind of liven it up and this stuff stays beautiful all day into the night. I use this product every day when I'm just going into the office. It's lightweight and buildable. Sometimes I forget what shade I had previously gotten, and I get a shade that's not quite a right match, but it still blends in almost flawlessly. Love the way my skin looks and feels when I'm wearing this. I have depends-on-the-day skin, and it can look a bit oily by the end of the day, but it's nothing some blotting or setting powder can't fix.

Product is great. Perfect shade. So natural and smooth. Delivery though was really bad. Item was delivered two days later than it said. Tracking never updated until after delivered. Item arrived in a too large of box with no protection for the glass bottle. It was rolling around everywhere. It’s a miracle it wasn’t smashed into pieces and dripping everywhere. Very unprofessional.
