I agree with other reviews that say this sits on the skin like there's no makeup there... but I add: almost. This is the color 2-3, Light. The color is just too yellow-toned, and also maybe a tad dark to be called "Light". This is definitely not a neutral, at least to my eye, and I'm an artist. I know Loreal is not even saying these colors are neutral. But the foundation is called "Nude" and this color is not nude. Since the color range is minimal, and there isn't a warm/cool/neutral choice within each level, I would think they would not skew the colors so yellow, since that only suits a small portion of users. Of course this will be true even if the color was not so yellow, since the range of colors is so minimal. The color shade 2-3 is correct for my winter skin when I don't have a slight tan I get in the summer (without trying, and even with sunscreen!). However, this color on my skin, with the yellow tone, makes it look like I'm trying to pretend I have a little tan. That's just from the yellow, not from the level of darkness. So maybe I have to resign myself to not being able to use this in winter, and get the 3-4 for summer use, when the yellow will be more appropriate. So I'm giving this product a generous 4 for the great texture, even though the color is wrong for me, at least for about half of the year. I do hope that Loreal will come out with more colors for this foundation. ... show more

a new favorite go to "foundation" of mine. it's light and feels like i have no makeup on my skin & because of that i feel like this product would be good for daily use & during the summer time when the weather is hot. it offers a sheer to light coverage which is fine for me since i use it to even out my skin and hide minor imperfections. it stays on pretty well for me throughout the day & i don't feel gross for having it on my face for so long. it gives me a natural dewey / skin like finish , which i love. my only complaint is that i wish the applicator worked better. i don't know if they are all like this or if i just got a bad one. however, i will definitely be repurchasing this product. ... show more

Blends well and provides nice natural coverage. You still look like you, just evened out. I found it doesn't apply like traditional foundation and works better applied with my fingers, though I normally use a blender. My only complaint is it seems like it does last - it doesn't make it through a full workday and the bottle barely made it a month (I use one dropper's worth a day). ... show more

Good color for me, slightly beige which tones down my pink cheeks and covers the sun spots. It goes on easily BUT for me it does not stay on. I live in a high desert colder area and wear a moisturizer 24/7, Perhaps they don't work well together.

Since turning 35, I’ve realized how much my skin has changed. I could no longer use the foundation i’d been using, and tried other foundations as well but they’d all be so cakey (even when just applying a minimal amount). I do have SLIGHT rosacea so I needed something that would even the tone all over my face. I bought this tinted serum in January (I have medium to fair skin so I bought the 3-4, light medium) and have loved it ever since. It’s so smooth and natural and looks and feels like I have nothing on! The only downside is that it doesn’t have SPF so I have a moisturizer with SPF that I apply before this. this is perfect for an everyday look but you do have to make sure that your skin is thoroughly moisturized prior to application otherwise it does hold on slightly to dry patches. other than that it is long lasting and very nice coverage
