The L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Anti Aging Face Cream arrived quickly in perfect condition and the box was wrapped in plastic like wrap which was very nice. The face cream is moisturizing and overall feels good. It only takes a small amount too.

I finally found the perfect face cream! It is creamy and fresh. Non-greasy. It has a pleasant scent. It completely dries evenly on my face and stays all day. I apply it again at night. After one week my face and neck look healthy and vibrant. I'm 58 and this cream fills in my wrinkles. I've tried many other face creams before, but this tops the list!

For it being a mositieizer it's dries very dry. I like a greasy face before bed so it can do it job while I sleep. Not sure if I should add a top coat of another mositieizer so I'm not so dry. There's already a lot going on in just this one bottle. When it arrived the lid had a lot of scratches on it. But I made sure it had the little factory seal. I chose this product because I couldn't find this size anywhere else. Update: Day 2 no itching when applied and I woke up with a very SOFT face.

UPDATE: HOW TO FIND THE EXPIRATION DATE The bottom of the package will have a series of numbers/letters that won't make sense to any of us. Find a website that will check those numbers and tell you the expiration date or when the product was made...in the case of this particular product, it will tell you when the product was made... not the expiration date. [I use CheckFresh.com]. I think that's because this product has Vitamin C in it and vitamin C, in cosmetics, has a short shelf life - generally, about 1 year to 18 months if unopened...but about 3-6 months if opened...depending upon if it's stored correctly. The website I use to check expiration or manufactured dates is CheckFresh.com Type in or scroll down to the manufacturer then type in the numbers on the box and...Ta Da...you have, [in this case] the date of manufacture. [This site also gives actual expiration dates for other products.] I'm wondering if some of those who have negative experiences with this product may be using an out-of-date jar. That will definitely have an effect on how it feels, smells and how effective it is. My other update: I have been using this product for a number of months now and while my skin is still soft, soft, soft, it has not had any effect on wrinkles or dark spots. Sorry to have to tell you that, but I still love what it's done to the texture of my skin so I still highly recommend it for that use. And finally, please read the article that I noted in my first review. It's long but if you're going to use products with Vitamin C in them then you should be well informed about it and this article does just that. The end of the article is where I found the recommendation for this product. The article also recommends that you don't use products with more than 12% Vitamin C. in them. ORIGINAL REVIEW [with a couple of corrections] Although the company that sent this product sent a used jar of Revitalift and I had to return it, I purchased it elsewhere and found that this moisturizer is wonderful. Within a few days I could feel the difference in my skin texture, and quite frankly I was shocked at the difference...soft, soft, soft. I was researching moisturizers and vitamin C additives and found an article with quotes from dermatologists touting both the positive and negative effects of Vitamin C in skin care products. This moisturizer was mentioned in the article, so I tried it. So glad I did. I loved the feel and smell of this cream, BUT I started to develop pimples and redness on my cheeks from it! I came back to read reviews and it seems quite a few others were either burned from it or developed a rash from it! Initially, I thought it was my CPAP nose pillow, but I stopped using it for 2 nights and my face is clearing up, so I now know my skin is having a reaction from it. It’s too bad, because it’s not a cheap item. If you buy it, keep the box n case you have a bad reaction and are able to send it back!
