Volume Maximizing Brush quickly thickens and builds lashes evenly for a full and bold look. Contains Panthenol and Ceramide-R and helps protect and condition lashes. Resists clumping and flaking, and leaves lashes supple and soft to the touch. Packaging may vary. What you receive may not be what is reflected on site. Bold, volume building mascara. Up to 5x fuller lashes. Separates and builds every lash. Clump-free and Smudge- resistant mascara Place brush at base of lashes and gently sweep up to tip. Removes easily with soap and water. To safeguard L'Oreal purity, reserve this product for your personal use. Treat the applicator with the hygienic care you give your eyes. Never apply this product in a moving vehicle. I have naturally semi-long eyelashes, so a simple over the counter mascara is fine for me. This is one of my go-to mascaras. It doesn’t clump, builds nicely, and it washes off easily. If I’m having a longer day I’ll reapply once. I don’t use waterproof mascara because I feel that it doesn’t look as good on my eyelashes, it’s harder to get off, and it doesn’t build well. I wouldn’t call this smudge proof though if you have naturally oily skin. I use powder and setting spray, but it generally smudges part way through the day. I have been using this mascara since I was 14. I love it in carbon black & I love it with the white primer underneath. When they came out with the Deep Burgundy shade, I found more to love. I have blue eyes and blonde hair, so this is a great daytime alternative to the black. I have also had good results layering it. I am a senior citizen with pale skin who colors her hair close to what nature originally gave me (red). I felt that the black and black-brown mascaras that seemingly permeate the market we’re looking too harsh for me at this stage, so I searched mascaras for redheads and decided to start with this one due to its widespread availability and low price point. The Burgundy color is perfect for me; makes my eyes stand out without looking so stark. The brush delivers it pretty well and I can apply a second coat if needed without it looking too thick and fakey. The downside is this is not even water resistant and I cannot find this color in L’Oreal’s waterproof mascara offerings. I’ve been using this mascara for over 20 years and it has never disappointed me. It lengthens and add thickness to eyelashes depending on how many times you go over. For everyday I do one coat and I’m done. Easy to remove with baby oil or makeup remover cloths.

I love the idea of purple lashes. But, this is some what too dark. I do wear it. It works better with L'oreal Lash Primer, which is a great product really makes my lashes stand out.
