So I don't have allergies to any makeup, never had a skin reaction before. Unfortunately I did with this. Apparently the type of sunscreen protection in this can cause reactions in a small group of people (yeah me). But it's odd because the same active ingredient, octinoxate, is present in other makeup that I have warn for years without issue. I think it comes down to concentration. This has 5% octinoxate where my other makeup has 1%. I get red raised bumps on my face along my cheek bones. I eliminated other factors in my makeup routine and diet, so the Loreal stick seems to be the culprit. It's a bummer because I loved the way this applied and wore throughout the day. It was convenient and looked nice, and I will be disappointed to throw it away. But it's not worth getting a rash every time I wear it. 4 stars, it did apply well. But there were some challenges getting it to apply evenly to my nose and chin when I tried to blend it in. It sometimes wouldn't lay right. But nice long wear as well. ... show more

I wanted the max factor pan stick that I used years ago. But, could not get it after ordering several times. I was told that this was great alternative. I found the shade very nice. But, it has a scent I find too chemical smelling and made skin itch Personally, think maybe formula needs to be simplified w/o so many chemical additives.
