This is my first time trying L'Oreal Paris Infallible 3-Second Setting Spray after seeing it highly recommended by one of my favorite influencers. It has become hands down my favorite setting spray! The first few times I used it, I wasn't sure how I felt about the application. Spraying it directly onto my face was a little uncomfortable at first, but the mist is very light and I got used to it very quickly. What really impressed me is how lightweight it feels and how quickly it dries. I had tried another setting spray that left my face feeling sticky and tacky. This one dries down nice and smooth without that feeling at all. It also really keeps my makeup in place until I take it off. I don't feel the need to carry it in my purse for touch-ups, which is a big plus. I'm 62, so I especially appreciate that it gives my makeup a natural-looking finish, rather than leaving my skin overly matte. I don't want a super-flat matte finish, and this gives me the all day wear I want while still looking natural. After trying it, I can definitely see why it's so highly recommended. This stuff is amazing! It’s absolutely not greasy, doesn’t leave a dewy finish which I like because I have oily skin, and it lasts all day. It’s a very fine mist that dries really quick on your face and gives me a matte look that lasts longer through the day. I absolutely love the staying power because I have super oily skin and rarely does a matte look stay longer than 2-3 hours. With this, I really don’t have to worry. It did take some getting used to because it does feel like you’re spraying hair spray on your face, but that was something I got the hang of quickly. I have to be honest, some of the reviews had me worried but I figured I would test it out anyway. This stuff is amazing! There's no greasy feel, the finish is amazing, it lasts all day, and it's very lightweight. It does smell like hairspray a little and for the first couple of seconds it's a little sticky but that dries up immediately. I really like this setting spray. The mist is super fine and dries almost instantly without making my face feel sticky or wet. It is definitely not my favorite. It reminds ds me of my days of spraying Breck Hair Spray on my face to hold the make up ( no setting spray back then). I smell it all day. It smells like Hair spray. For the positives: it works well for an inexpensive setting spray. My make up stays through most of the day. It's a good product for the price. It's hard for me to find a good setting spray. It worked well as a substitute until payday. I am still a loyal fan of Ben Nye's setting spray ( buy on Amazon too). I would purchase again as a backup. ... show more

Ok, I was skeptical at first. I was worried it wouldn’t make my makeup stay put, and if it would make my makeup look cakey after spraying it- I did its job really well. I had to go to a funeral yesterday, and even with lots of crying and wiping tears, my makeup looked great at the end of the day. This stuff will LOCK your makeup in. Once this is on, your makeup will not budge. So that’s the good part. The only negative is that I would compare this stuff to hairspray. I feel like I’m spraying hairspray on my face. It’s sticky, and it makes your face feel tight, but it also does exactly what it’s supposed to do, in helping your makeup stay in place against water, heat, humidity, and time. The smell is great, and surprisingly long lasting.
