I gained a little weight after being off my feet for 6 months due to an injury. My regular 38 x 32 jeans were a bit uncomfortable due to the extra 20 pounds. Size 40 x 32 was too roomy in the thighs and legs. I decided to go for these 38 x 32 jeans with just a bit of spandex incorporated into the weave. What a difference. They look and feel like regular jeans but there is just enough "give' to accommodate my extra girth. They are very comfortable and the fit is perfect. Nice jeans but wider than levis 505 on average. Also slightly shorter than 505 (for me OK). I was looking to switch from 505 to something else, because every pair of 505 i bought recently is different from others in size. I cannot trust levis anymore.

I love these pants, they are my new go-to everyday pants for work. They have an awesome waist band on the inside, and the gusset only normally comes on expensive pants like Prana (which I paid $$$ for years because they were the only pants to have that feature) The only negative thing I can say, is that the very back belt loop has a rather large bump in it, and when I lay down to stretch, I can definitely feel it, beyond that, they are comfortable, sturdy, and easy to move in, at the right price. I bought these because I had a similar pair previously. I find this style to be very comfortable when wearing & very easy to move in. As well this particular pair had a nice look to it. I'm a bigger stockier guy but they are very comfortable so I do recommend them.

Hubby moves a lot at work. Squats, stretches, twists and turns. These pants keep up and has the most 'give'. He ordered a second pair. Colors are easy to coordinate too!
