    • Works like magic!
I have curly thick hair and it always is hard as it is to maintain curls bouncy and not dry or frizzy. I got full highlights in my hair couple weeks ago and it’s been hard to keep them hydrated and healthy after all the chemicals and changes. I bought this before going to the more expensive products like Moroccan oil products. It’s a five minute mask I just did it last night and my hair feels like it’s self again. My hair is soft, hydrated, it controlled my frizz, it wasn’t hard to brush this morning definitely brought my curls back to life.     • Turned my silky hair into golden hay
As a middle-aged woman with fine, straight, blonde color-treated hair, I bought this hair mask with hope in my heart and unrealistic expectations in my soul. For context- I have a LOT of fine hair and plenty of flyaways. I wanted smooth, shiny, effortlessly expensive-looking hair. The kind of hair that says, “I drink enough water and have my life together.” I followed the directions exactly and left it on for 10 minutes before rinsing. The good news? It absolutely adds shine. My hair looked noticeably brighter after using it, and the shine lasted a few days. I also liked the scent, which is saying something because I’m VERY sensitive to fragrances. It smells clean without smelling like you got trapped inside a perfume counter. Now for the bad news. Around the fourth use, my hair started feeling like straw. Not “a little dry”, more like “scarecrow chic.” It felt stiff both wet & dry, and no amount of deep conditioner seemed to fully undo it. It also did absolutely nothing for my flyaways, which continued floating around my head like I’d been slightly electrocuted. Oddly enough, it DID make my fine hair feel thicker. Unfortunately, that’s mostly because straw is thicker than silk. I kept trying to convince myself it was working because the shine was nice, but eventually I had to accept that my hair was beginning to feel less “luxury gloss treatment” and more “overprocessed craft store raffia.” Overall, I’d give this 3 stars because the shine and scent are genuinely good, and I could see this working better for other hair types. But for my fine, color-treated hair, the trade-off between shine and texture just wasn’t worth it. The hunt to find the magical mask continues. ... show more

Dull hair WHERE? I have dry curly hair and I straighten my hair all the time so I desperately needed to add moisture and shine to my hair and hair oil was not cutting it since I can't apply much to my hair without weighing it down.
