There are several brands that have the cool air function, but they are always over $100. Which is fair, a good hair tool is worth the price. But L'Ange has a good name so I decided to try their version of the Airflow styler. I'm really glad I tried it, because it really does work! Usually when I curl my hair with a straightener, the curls don't last all day-they fall into waves after a few hours. Using the cool air function has changed that! The cool air sets the curl as claimed, and the curls lasted all day for me, and into the next day!!! Granted, I use a silk pillow case overnight to help, but still! I have NEVER been good at curling my hair and I am so nervous about burning myself. Regular curling irons also don’t hold curl. So when I went out looking for a new curling iron I knew I wanted one just like a ceramic straightener but easier to use. This takes the cake! It’s so easy to use!     • Not as easy for longer hair
I really loved watching the videos of how the curves, waves came out. My hair is very long and although I am pleased with the product, the curls don't hold that long. I even use a spray to help with this. I think for shoulder length or shorter item this works well. I still like my electric rollers for the best hold but I will keep trying using the L'ANGE styler. I watched videos about how to create the curls but it did not creat even a wave. it isn’t even a great flat iron, let alone make curls. Useless tool. Update: I donated my hair to Wigs for Kids (so it’s 14” shorter) and I can now get it to create the beachy wave look. (FYI I bought the one for longer hair) It does not function well as a curling iron, and it needs quite small chunks of hair to work properly. It does not work on long thick hair. ... show more

This is more of a gimmicky hair tool. I used it both for straightening and curling my hair. When used to flatten hair, it took several passes to make it straight. By time I got to the other side of my head, I had to restraighten the side that I already had finished. So I tried to curl. Same results. The supposed cooling fan is weak. Actually it really didn't have any real use. Curls did not stay. Even when used with heat protectant and/or a straightening product my hair looks awful. I do not recommend at all and plan to definitely return. Please, someone, make at least a straightener that works as advertised. This is a serious waste of money and my time! ... show more

I have tried curling wants, spinning curling irons, and wavers. This is the first time any product has worked for me. It’s easy, quick, and the curls in my very long (past the middle of my back), thick hair has curled. Actual, beautiful curls. Buy this , don’t doubt it.
