So I bought this flat iron for travel because it doesn't need a converter. I thought I should try it before I throw it in my suitcase for my next trip. This flat iron is BETTER than my 250 dollar CHI! I've also tried a few popular expensive flat irons and returned them because they were overpriced with no difference between them and less expensive ones. This flat iron curls so good. I purchased this flat iron to take to Europe because it is dual voltage and I couldn’t take my normal heat tools. This came packaged neatly, with clear instructions, and easy to use controls. This worked in Europe perfectly with my converter and I was able to do curls and waves quickly. I really enjoy how light weight this is and how the on/off and temperature controls are placed so I don’t accidentally hit them. The iron heats up quickly and gets very hot. Pros- This runs very smooth on your hair. Good for straightening and curling Cons-I think the plates are a little short (must user smaller sections of hair) and I wish it turned off after 30 minutes or so.

This had all of the features I was looking for. A dial to keep the temperature constant so that I don't have to reset it every time I use it. A big plus for me because I don't have to look for reading glasses every time I use it and it's difficult to find this feature anymore. The back end is closed so that it doesn't pinch my hand. Have a lot of thin shoulder length blunt cut hair. Looks thick to most until you touch it! In humid weather my hair frizzes up, especially the really little short ends on top. I tried this a few times and it really did nothing even on the hottest setting. Had to go through about 3 times with a very little amount of hair to get some results, waste of time and money.
