First Impressions of the AZ09: The charging case is huge. It is slightly smaller than the entire palm of my hand. Given that the box hold ear hooks and needs a void in the center to accommodate a variety of IEMs, there isn't really a great way around this. The box itself feels unremarkable and somewhat cheap. The lid has a number of manufacturing artifacts from the molding process and flexes quite a bit. I am not confident in the long-term durability of the lid or hinge and will not be carrying the case in my pockets for this reason. The lack of wireless charging is also disappointing. While the ear hooks do charge with contact pins in the box, the box itself requires being tethered a USB-C cable, making the listening experience wireless but not the entire use experience. This would be a great quality improvement for future iterations. Regarding charging, there is an LED on the front of the box that is perpetually on while the box is plugged in. This is a common issue among charging boxes from other manufactures, but it is still frustrating. I cannot charge these, my Sony, B&O, Sennheiser, or other buds next to the bed without covering them to block the light. The ear hooks also don't feel especially sturdy in the hand. Sound Quality: The sound quality is quite good. On true lossless files, there is some loss of quality, but when listening to files that max out the aptX codec, I cannot hear a difference. This is really excellent for the price. Fit and Comfort: You can feel the control/battery portion of the hook. Its a permanent annoyance, but not one I would consider a deal breaker given that these allow me to convert my favorite IEMs for wireless listening. The convenience of not having a wire when I'm moving around, lifting objects, doing yardwork, cooking, or just working on a project spread across my desk is the main reason that I bought these. This functionality expectation was met. Usability: I have paired these with my PC and phone with zero issues or unexpected complications. The pairing and wireless functions work seamlessly out of the box. Conclusion: There is a lot of room for improvement, but given the price and the quality where it matters, I believe these are worth the purchase.

The sound quality is fantastic if you’re using any of the KZ IEM earbuds. It’s great value for money, the quality is nice, just wish it had a metal hinge instead of plastic. And the gaming mode is very low latency. Don’t you dare try and pair these with more than one device, it quickly becomes a nightmare trying to change the device that these are paired to , when trying to connect to a different device, maybe only one of them will do it and it’ll be a whole hassle to reset it and re-sync them together and it’s a whole thing. So when you get these out the box pair them to one device and just leave it, I’m not saying you can’t be done it’s annoying.

If they get wet at all they are dead. Replaced them twice because they failed so quick they were still in the return window. Last set died mowing the lawn the first time I used them. Junk period.

I got these to find a use for my extra CCA CRA+ and KZ ZS10 Pro's, and I couldn't be happier! Stays in my ears much better than AirPods and I can swap out for different flavors of IEMs at any time. The CCAs have stayed in my head all day today and battery is still great, and it stayed comfortable. The "full power" mode is just a bass/treble boost and it's a little much on these V/U shaped IEMs but I'll be darned if it's not really fun for some tracks. Call quality is... fine. It's fine. You didn't buy this to make calls, though. I wish they fit my Moondrop Arias but I can always get an adapter.

The biggest con I've encountered is the audio quality is not as good as I'd like for the price. The digital noise and quality are not as good as other Bluetooth devices I've used. With that said, there are a lot of pros. The Bluetooth range and interfacing are very good, never have to fiddle with it too much. While others have said they've had battery issue, I have never had the battery die on me. I probably have used it continuously for 4 hours or so at most. But you shouldn't use earbuds for more than an hour or two without a break. You can also charge one bud while using the other without having to mess with any settings. Very useful for giving one ear a break. Also, never any issue with them falling off even during cardio. Good, but you'd hope for better quality considering the price and having to buy the actual earbuds seperate
