  • Features chain drive using sprockets and a mini chain, similar to a real motorcycle.
  • The articulated rider actually leans into the corners, shifting its weight from side-to-side for very realistic performance.
  • Rear suspension uses asymmetrical swing arm with mono-shock friction damper.
  • This product requires additional accessory purchases, complete assembly, and detailing to make the motorcycle fully operational. Pictures of the assembled, detailed motorcycle are for reference only.

Description

Since it's first release in 1992, Kyosho's long selling Hanging On Racer model is still as popular as ever. The S.D.S.S (semi direct steering system) delivers high performance fully independent motion with the rider figure construction incorporating 13 different connections so it hangs on to the bike as it leans into corners. The result is driving performance just like a real motorbike that is easy enough for anyone to control. In addition, each section of the bike is designed with an incredible level of scale detail from the body cowl, inverted front fork suspension, brake disk & calipers, wheels, drive chain, sprocket and asymmetrical swing arm to recreate a model of display standard quality. However, as only a few parts are used in construction, even beginners can enjoy the satisfaction of the assembly that only takes a short time to complete. Dive deep into the fascinating realm of R/C electric motorbike driving like never before and discover the pure enjoyment of building, displaying and driving your own Hanging On Racer. This is a KIT that requires a number of additional purchases to make the model fully operational, and it requires complete assembly and painting. This is best suited for intermediate to experienced modelers. The pictures showing the assembled motorcycle are for reference only..

  • My new favorite rc vehicle. It's essentially perfect.
Zero notes for this kit. Directions are clear and correct - you may need to improvise once or twice during the build though. It is not a difficult build by any means but it's a little time consuming . I built it exactly as recommended. Spektrum SLT3 transmitter with SLR300 receiver (combo). Kyosho speed house 7.2v NIMH battery 1600. Kyosho recommended steering servo and esc. Worked flawlessly on first try. It's so much fun - probably my new favorite rc vehicle. Find an empty tennis court and have fun. Speed is not the point of this bike. You have to work on smooth throttle control and minimizing steering inputs. It's a fun challenge getting one of these things moving. It won't look fast but it'll feel faster than necessary. It's important to setup your steering trim and response bc if you allow for too much servo movement you can scrape up your belly pan. When you finally get it running practice steering via throttle - i.e. slow down in the turn for a tighter radius, speed up for a bigger one. ... show more

  • mechanical knowledge not included
watch some youtube videos on the build process. bunch of uninformed people leaving bad reviews. ZH RACING high grip tires recommended but quite a few modifications are needed to run them.
