    • received a PREPAID phone - not compatible with monthly service
Item is listed as compatible with Verizon and working on their service, and is listed as model S2720. What I received was model S2720PP -- the PP designates PREPAID service. would not activate. after 48 minutes on the phone with Verizon, they said it cannot be activated because it is a prepaid phone and is not compatible with monthly service. The phone itself has nice features, but was MISREPRESENTED by the SELLER. Be cautious if ordering this phone, you may receive a prepaid model which does not work with monthly service. ... show more

    • Check with seller as to what type of Cadence S2720 they are selling.
I bought mine from CTI, it is new and unlocked and worked fine on Verizon. The same phone can be either locked to verizon for monthly plans, locked to verizon for pay as you go (prepaid) or unlocked, depending on the seller. Unfortunately Amazon rolls all of the reviews and questions together, that is why there is conflicting answers. ... show more

    • Beware of resellers but fully disclosing
Ordered this phone from the reseller and no where did it mention it was a pre pay phone. This caused us tons of issues and 2 hours on the phone with Verizon to get it activated. Not happy with the reseller who sold the phone. Also, paid $70 and when I received the phone there was a $17 clearance tag on the outside. I wouldn't buy from ETC ventures/CTI wireless again! ... show more

    • Basic flip phone.
In today's world the only reason to buy a flip phone is the small size. Or to get a small inexpensive phone for child or older person. This phone tries to pack everything in to a small package. The phone it self works fine. The antenna must be fairly small . The reception is not that great. When My 2 other samsung phones has 4 bars and this one can only get 2 bars. But because they try to pack all the features in to one small package the interface is fairly cumbersome. You have to push a lot of buttons just to get to the contacts. It is also hard to add or edit contacts. This is probably the most used function in the phone for most people. ... show more

No Sim card, nano or otherwise. No adaptor. No cable. AND no battery, good or bad. Basically pretty much a shell game. Should have been about half of the price for all the missing stuff but when you hate Smart phones clowns like these have pretty much got you by the short hairs. It works.

I decided to ditch my iPhone and revert back to a flip phone and I'm loving it. The great thing about this flip phone is that it has a mobile hotspot - so if I have to get a laptop online (or get my old iPhone online) in order to do some work, or get some navigation going, I can do that.
