  • To small for good performance
They are small diameter shocks, half the size of my Rear KYBs, or the RS9000 they replaced, haul a 28 ft bumper pull toy hauler with a utv rack in the bed with a KRX1000 on it, they work well for a bit when cold, but on long drives 6 hours plus they fade and loose their rebound, if you get out and feel the shock they are hot, in my opinion there isn’t enough oil volume to keep them from fading, the rear KYB does fine, as for the ride empty they are stiff but not horrible, it’s what I expected to get with KYBs description of them, if you do a lot of unloaded miles I would pass on them or get the RS9000, they are adjustable and I got over 150000 miles on them and on full stiff they were spot on for towing ... show more

  • Perfect fit
These shocks are stiff but that’s what I needed for my truck. I was missing upper bushings and top plate be sure and check for all parts before starting I had to use parts off of my old shocks

  • Not bad ride but these things are DINKY
Very small diameter, too small I'd say for a 1 ton Ford 4x4, typically you'd want much larger diameter body and armature to resist bending on the trail. Street manners are good, improved handling and reduced bounce over washboard roads. Will update if the opinion changes after extended use.

  • 2008 f350
Just installed on my 2008 f350 powerstroke, crew cab short box... stock height. You don't realize how bad your shocks get, until you replace them. The truck rides like it should. Stiff, but comfortable. Absorbs small stuff beautifully, no more cab roll, no more nose dive when braking. Difficult to compress when installing, two people would have been easier. Couldn't decide between these or bilstein 5100. Extremely happy with this purchase so far... time will tell. This is a 8k pound truck. If you want it to ride like a Cadillac.... buy a Cadillac. ... show more

Value for the money. And manfacture for stock height.

I replaced the stock OEM shocks, which were giving me issues, with these. I have a 2015 f250. These made such a big difference.
