Relatively easy to put up and bend into shape. Has held up a very large, heavy curtain for many months with no issues and no kinks. Solidly built parts. The endcaps are little weak, but thats not a problem unless you fling your curtain into them too hard.

Works great once its installed. It installation thats the trick. Needs 2 people to wrestle it into place. Probably easier with a straight line installation, but I needed to curve around about 110 degrees and it was a fight to get the edge of the track under the front hooks and click it into place on the curved section and would have been impossible on my own.

I got these to put a curtain in our garage to keep my woodworking dust down from the vehicles. When you get them they are wound in a tight spiral. The instructions tell you to wind them the other way for a bit then do final straightening adjustments. I did so but still couldn't get them totally straight. You get enough clips to put a clip every foot. I recommend that spacing IF you want them straight. The clips go in easily and have included molly fittings if you aren't on a stud. Clipping the rail into the clips is a bit tougher with the long rail. With it hanging down from where you are working you have to maneuver it to get it in the clip. Note! The rail has a top and bottom. I installed one upside down so I need to fix that. The little hooks go in easily EXCEPT on the end cap. You will need to pray the opening up just a tad. These are well made with a metal strip running through them. I highly recommend them. I'm not sure why there is a feature for sheerness. They are white and look nice against the ceiling.

Guys this is an epic product especially for the price!! Don’t be deterred by the folks saying it is a 2 person job. I did this (16 ft) in less than an hour by myself with one tiny break to rest my shoulders. The trick to one person install IS… do as the instructions say and unroll … RE roll backwards. I taped it and left it for like an hour. I then cut it loose, went down the whole track and straightened the small parts that still had bends…. THEN, this is the good part… I rolled it BACK up the opposite way that it was shipped, created almost a lasso and taped it in increments… after hanging the brackets, I started to pop the track in, 2 brackets at a time, then I’d cut the tape to reveal another portion of the track. Over and over until I got to the end. Trust me I thought I was gonna have to phone a friend but this allowed me to hold the track with one hand and pop it in with my other hand… after 4 brackets, the “lasso” stays up by itself ( that’s what my photo is of) Anyhow I’m impressed at the product and I felt like a boss after I got it up! 20 stars for me and the track!

I found it pretty obnoxious to bend this rod into a “straight” line. I even left books as weights on top of it to hopefully mold it into a straight line. Even so it is still very squiggly and not straight. You would have to be lying on the floor or couch looking up at it to notice, it doesn’t affect the aesthetic of the hung curtains at all. But if that sort of thing drives you crazy, maybe think again. Also, if you order a longer size with the intention of cutting it down to size, you do really need a hack saw. We tried to use something different to cut it down and were not successful. You need the hacksaw to get a clean edge so that the end/stopper that keeps the curtains from flying off the track can smoothly fit onto the end. I actually do like how easily the curtain holders glide across the track. It’s very quiet and smooth. Overall, not the easiest to put up in my case but serves its purpose and I REALLY needed some curtains for the space & they’re finally hung securely on the track!

I’ve purchased this same track three times now for different areas both outside on our patio and inside. It takes a knack to get it straightened out but once it is up it works like a charm and is very cost effective. It’s also a very durable plastic and can take a beating from constant use.
